mdmc82
James won't be riding tomorrow, the guest replacement will be announced shortly. Hope he's on the mend soon. Must be a nightmare for you trying to find a guest when Sarj is much better than his ranking on draft. What's wrong with him Neil ? He has said on Twitter that nothing is broken but very sore and has a headache.

Two minute warning
Big blow for the bees made even worse by Sarjeant's silly ranking on the draft list. It's not impossible for Coventry to get something from this meeting but has been made a lot harder. We are going to need the whole team to be on top form. We are also going to need a big night from Garrity. Best wishes to James. Edited April 26, 2015 by Two minutes notice
SCB
The good news is that the replacement only need 3 rides as Jason is so good at Monmore. Surely we should be looking at using Dan Greenwood, Storm rider, ex-Cradley (so knows Monmore) flying in the NL and had a decent enough meeting in the PL recently. Why have a NL team if you're not going to give them guys a chance when an opportunity arises?!

Clegg is ruled out as riding for Cradley so from the list that mainly leaves Tom Perry and Dan Greenwood. Give Dan 3 rides and Garrity the other if needed. We know Dan will give it 100%
stevebrum
Garrity should be having 5 rides anyway even if Sarj was fit. He is likely to get 12-14 points tomorrow anyway.

I think Blackbird will try and put a stop to that. If Garrity brings the bike from the 2nd half of Friday's meeting then we are in for a treat 😄

If he's riding that well and the management are on the ball he could have 6 or even 7 depending on how others are going. All my statement said was that the replacement only needs to have 3 rides, nothing at all about how many Jason would be expected to take. CB252
Dan is in tonight according to his website. He's also got a PL gig at Rye House. Great news for the lad and richly deserved.
BluPanther
Could well be a cracker at Monmore tonight, such a shame the Sky circus is heading to Manchester. I expect the underestimated Wolves to get a win if Blackbird can outscore Garrity...

I expect the underestimated Wolves to get a win if Blackbird can outscore Garrity... Based on how Jason went at Monmore last year Blackbird will do well to do that. Wolves will do the damage at second string - PK and Wells are flying - but if we can get the 3-3s in the heats by beating the reserves we can do it. Game On
Dan is in tonight according to his website. He's also got a PL gig at Rye House. Great news for the lad and richly deserved. DAN STANDS IN Monday April 27, 2015 COVENTRY have booked in-form Storm rider Dan Greenwood to guest for their senior team in tonight’s Elite League clash at Wolverhampton. Greenwood, who has scored 15-point maximums in each of his last two matches for the Storm including in yesterday’s win at Buxton, comes in for James Sarjeant who is ruled out after a crash at Glasgow. Sarjeant was released from hospital with no broken bones but has to sit out the meeting at Monmore, and he is currently ranked 11th in the Tier 2 reserve list. Greenwood has been in outstanding form in all of his National League appearances this season and also won a race at Premier League level at Somerset on Friday.
sommelier
Looking forward to this one, my first trip to Wolves this year, hard one to call
mdmc82
Think Wolves will edge this now. Hopefully we will get a point though. Sarjeant is a huge miss for the bees esp when the reserves are really important in this format. Good luck to Dan Greenwood. Great to see us using our own asset. Don't think you can write the Bees off just because of Greenwood being in the line up. I've rarely seen Sarj do well at Monmore, so he'd probably have only taken points off Bates anyway. I think Dan is more than capable of nicking a point or two off Bates. The key to this is our top 5 all performing and chipping in so as to nulify the importance of the Blackbired v Garrity match up. Woz01
If Garrity does what he usually does at Wolves then Bees will win. If not then it will be tight.
Richard Sherriff
I am very optimistic tonight. If everyone performs to their potential it will be very close shame I won't be going later got work but good luck to Bees.
