Fourentee
I didn't say it as you have wrongly put it You said it exactly as I have rightly put it. It's called quoting. You seriously don't know the difference between small and smaller? Read it again and have another go. Edited July 6, 2016 by Fourentee
robert72
So Darren have you text him about his views on the Ben fund, I think a lot of people would like to know why he doesn't support it but happy to support a wealthy Aussie riders fund. Read it again and have another go. he is saying athletics, boxing and tennis are smaller than Speedway... hmm exact quote "Tai is an icon in a very small sport, but he is not a household name like Jessica Ennis-Hill, Paula Radcliffe,Andy Murray,Carl Froch,Tom Daley, to name a few from smaller sports." wow..new one on me.. So Darren have you text him about his views on the Ben fund, I think a lot of people would like to know why he doesn't back it but happy to back a wealthy Aussie riders fund. so you get called out by fourentee and then bring me back.. wow what a way to divert the question Robert72 i have told you i will meet you on the 30th you can pose all your questions to the current world champion and i will video your answers so we can all lay this to rest once and for all.. with words direct from Tai's mouth.. ok ?? until that i will not be dragged into it with you any more.. because until then you wont be happy.. robert72
Tai Woffinden is and will always be a popular World Champion and many will agree. What's your point? (I was also a huge fan of Mark so I agree with your statement). However many of your posted reasons for disliking Tai are just your opinion based upon no supporting evidence. Dazzafl has proved you wrong a number of times on some of your points, yet you still carry on. Why?? And you still haven't stated whether you have the nuts to face Tai and where you will be doing so....so as I have said previously, you aint gonna are you? What supporting evidence ? He didn't ride in the British final, he didn't ride in the Ben fund, he doesn't ride in British speedway, so what does he do for British speedway that benefits the sport and the fans. RPNY
So it was a good advertisement for British Speedway that the current British World Champion didn't want to ride in it you think ? What about when the England Captain played in Spain (Beckham)
dazzafl
What about when the England Captain played in Spain (Beckham) ohh no you cant put that against speedway.. ohh yeah you can becasue Robert72 compared Tai to sports people from Athletics, Boxing, Tennis etc.. robert72
what a ridiculous comment.. also are you going to say the same about Scott Nichollls he didnt ride in the Ben Fund Meeting either.. is he just as bad ?? Yes Scott should of rode in it and was very disappointing that he didn't bother. We saw the out cry for Darcy but the British guys in wheelchairs are forgotten and those top riders who got behind Darcy won't ride in a single meeting for the Ben fund, very sad. I honestly think tai should come out and support the Ben fund as a British World Champion and with him representing Britain in the World Cup if he wants to gain respect. Are you proud that tai doesn't support the Ben fund ?

Athletics, tennis and boxing are smaller sports than speedway? This may add some interest in regard to the two previous items with comment on participant sports: http://redshed.co.uk/blog/top-ten-popular-sports-united-kingdom/ Edited July 6, 2016 by Guest

Are you proud that tai doesn't support the Ben fund ? Robert, this is my first post on this subject i believe, please stop this, otherwise it will meaninglessly go through 5000 posts. Tai is not everybodys cup of tea, and for me i only find him luke warm, You've made it perfectly clear what you think. I am not a massive fan of his, but you have to admire the progress he has made in the last 5 years sinse his dad sadly passed away. For me, Mark will always be tops, Although Trick was very good for poole, many many fans were seriously upset when Mark left through things beyond his control. which was very sad at the time. I understand what you are saying, but its becoming rather repetitive. Edited July 6, 2016 by Starman2006
sparkafag
“Well Tai has raced in the Ben Fund Bonanza” “Yes, but why doesn’t he race in it every year”…that’s what is coming isn’t it…. …..and as well as racing it every year, even if he was to do that he should also fly to the moon and drive every other British rider to and from every meeting each week….and if he does they things he should also make their dinner and buy shopping for them…..and if he does that he should also then bring back the Dodo and ride Santa Claus around the world on a Speedway Bike on the 25th of December”. Genuinely, Robert72 has said Woffinden should give up his wages, there is literally nothing he isn’t going to say. Using the Ben Fund as a stick to beat any rider with is crass, more so when the rider has raced in it. You appear to hold the meeting in high regard, and rightly so but by using it in the way you are on this thread you are subconsciously cheapening it – not to me, or most reading it though, to yourself, it is quite horrible to read. I think it would be in everyone’s best interest you stop using it as a points scoring exercise on this thread.
