You are the keyboard hard nut but the fastest runner in real life.

Lily savage pic, Paul would not be happy.

josh will probably be in it anyway unless he leaves Rob lambert at reserve

No business of yours and utterly irrelevant either way. Disgusting post. If you had any sense of shame or honour you'd remove it. Not that I'm holding my breath.

Why remove it, Not said anything out of order.

Tai wasn't tired traveling for the pointless pairs yesterday but is too tired for the British final even though he is based in Britain.

amazing thread on this issue is attracting soo much attention. totally disagree with rob72 on world cup, but I really do believe tai should make an appearance at british final..im convinced money talks, and its not enough to attract him

and had he been honest enough to say so, no one could have had an argument with him (well maybe a few). As it is he has alienated quite a few people (myself included) to a lesser or greater extent and the fall out rumbles on.

BTW Gavan don't be so presumptious to attempt to speak for everyone. You certainly do not speak for me. If I have something to say I will stand up and say it myself

You genuinely don't see the moral issue of taking it upon yourself to decide what the views would be of someone no longer here to comment? Really? Then switch your conscience back on some time soon.

All this is utter nonsense of course Tai should be in the gb team Bates may be a promising youngster but no way is he ready for world cup action if anything take him as part of the squad so he can watch ,listen and learn frompeople like Tai etc, Not only is Tai our best at the moment also from a commercial side he puts bums on seats . Plus you say about him saying british tracks are dangerous

perhaps he has a point or not he does want gb to produce better riders hence him running his training schools . and as Bwitcher says you don't say anything about Scott Nicholls (real nice guy too) saying he didn't want to ride for gb because of what happens behind closed doors in the bspa Scotty is another who wants gb to succeed and I believe wanted changes to help younger riders come throu.

As for your riding skills robert72 I don't know but having thrown my leg over a bike or two and at a reasonable standard until injuries dictated otherwise I hold my hat up to every single rider professional and amateur , but I have to agree with Gavans statement love it, esp when you bring Tai's dad Rob into it that is below the belt.

I respect your non abusive point, my point on the World Cup is on talent yes we need him but for what's right for the future of British speedway we need to make a stand on a rider picking if and when he wants to ride.

Tai missing the British final is a massive embarrassment to British speedway, yes he should of had a wild card but he made it clear he didn't want to race in it so that is showing to the future kids that they to can pick when they ride in Britian and snub the national title and its ok as if they are good enough they can still ride in the World Cup.

Tai Not riding in the British final is a massive loss financially & the much needed media interest is lost but also the British fans lose out.

There you go tai is good commercial and puts bums on seats so what loss is his snub of the British Final ?

Nothing has happened so far about training schools, it's been all talk.

It's ok wanting future British stars coming through but what type of example does tai set snubbing the national title ?

poland july 7 cardiff 8 practice, cardiff 9, poland 10th......can do this but not for british final....

just read Tai slagging off lakeside track, really wonder why hes losing peoples patience!

Surely he has to miss the gp or the Polish matches as Tai given his moral stance about the British Final ....lets wait and see

absolutely, now we will see if people on here back his "morals".. so now whats the difference between this and the british final?

his excuse was the booking close to belle vue "could effect his title hopes"...now whats the difference?

and as for slagging off lakeside? he wasn't slagging off these tracks whilst earning a living here???

Just when you think you've read it all.

Tai is contracted to race for his polish team, as such, like when he was contracted to ride for Wolverhampton he will race on the dates their matches are. Totally irrelevant to the British final.

If anything it actually adds to the reasons for him not doing the British final. Why increase what is already a demanding schedule he has.

As for track conditions in the UK he commented many times whilst riding in this country about the state of certain tracks and he wasn't the only one,

Interesting this very tight schedule not only Tai has in July but other riders too - Greg and NKI are mentioned in the item on speedwaygp.com, and its all about Polish league rescheduling.

We have heard recently of riders who cannot fulfil their UK clubs duties because of a contractual condition from a Polish team. Seems like Poland are tying things up very tight to suit themselves.

Could this lead to further problems in the future, even more tighter contracts. I can foresee this possibly happening.

So what your saying is the contract for the British final wasn't big enough for him so why should he bother doing it as riding in the polish league is more money and is far more important than riding in the British final in front of British fans.

I once thought speedway was classed as tough dirt track racing for the brave, not a sport run on billiard tables for pampered riders.

Shock and Horror!!!

This morning I read Andy Murray is taking a rest after his French Open final before Wimbledon.

What about all these matches that will be taking place around the UK between now and Wimbledon, surely he should be doing these so the British public can see no2 tennis player in the world.

He doesnt think so.
