Gavan
I called a group of people pathetic if their reasons for not supporting Tai is because he isnt riding in the british final or think he is an aussie If you think thats name calling or take offence then i think you are perhaps being a tad precious
BUDGIE
So if tai wins the world title this year he will then return to British speedway as he would of won it 3 times and won't want to race in it again. It's all gone quiet on the training schools ? have have have have have!
Daniel Smith
Denmark has a very thriving speedway scene and being Danish champion really means something. To win means you beat what could be considered a world class field, unlike in the UK. NKI has an oppoortunity of equaling/beating the record held by Ole Olsen of 7 (I think) national championships in a row. Olsen is probably one of the top 10 riders in the world ever. To equal/beat such a record would really mean a lot to a Danish rider. Ole Olsen is 12x Danish champion. That will (I believe) never be matched
robert72
Ole Olsen is 12x Danish champion. That will (I believe) never be matched Ole is a true speedway legend who not only wanted to win world titles but also he wanted to win his countries national title as it meant so much to him. Rob would feel disappointed with him snubbing the British final.

Rob would feel disappointed with him snubbing the British final. fool The Danish Final was a stepping stone to the World Crown, the British Final now isnt Also the Danish Final wasnt arranged at the time of a GP and neither did Olsen ride in as many countries as Tai So to compare the two is utterly foolish but then again i expect nothing less from you Hope to see you at Cardiff, i will be the one waving the Union Jack cheering on our 2x World Champ. Im sure you will be doing the same And yes Olsen is a legend but then so will Tai be when he wins his third one! Grachan
Grachan and you for two! Did I? Do you mean by referring to British fans who used to support the USA as idiots? If so, then my own opinion is that they were. It used to really wind me up.

OveFundinFan
IMO it is utter nonsense to suggest ANY GB tea without Tai would be better then if he was in.
Trees
Nothing to do with being "better" in this case .....

waiheke1
So you would drop bates to put tai in the team ? Shows what you know about the sport. 😂😂😂😂😂 yes, bates clearly should be in the squad ahead of a rider who is likely to be the greatest brit of all time. Clearly anyone who thinks otherwise knows nothing about speedway😂😂😂😂😂 can't believe nz used to pick Maufer even when he skipped our national champs . Tbf, as the reserve has to be u21, if lambert justifies a place in the top 4 then Ellis or bates may be reserve and tai picked ahead of one of the others. Given that bates has never represented gb in the senior swc not sure your use of the word "drop" is accurate..that's a surprise...

So you want a rider riding in team GB who says British tracks are not safe, Leaving him out would be the best thing for British speedway in the long term. Again You clearly don't see the damage tai is doing to British speedway with your tai rose tinted glasses.
waiheke1
Yes. Leaving out the rider who is likely to be our number one for the next decade makes perfect sense. Why you haven't been made gb manager is second only to why you were never capped as a rider in the list of great speedway injustices of the modern era...

Not sure that you can make comment on my riding as you never had the nerve to challenge me on track, also little do you know. You just don't get the long term positives by dropping tai, you clearly have no management or PR skills.
Pinny
Guys, ignore the troll. It has nothing to do with Tai not singing the national anthem, or Tai not riding in the Ben Fund. Robert72 doesn't post over and over about riders who refuse to even race for their country... Scott Nicholls... or riders that have NEVER rode in the Ben Fund... Scott Nicholls. He obviously has a personal dislike and petty jealousy. I seen Nicholls riding in the rye house ben fund a few years ago, almost certainly

By what right do you arrogate the ability to know what he might think about anything? What a disgustingly snide, putrid post that was.
