Baldyman
Thought I would get this one going early. Anyone know if gino will be fit for this? I'm going to say a 16 point home win, with or without gino. Looking forward to seeing how Jakobson does on his first visit. I'm going to say pretty well
Shadders
I was more confident before Steve Boxalls injury. Unsure if he'll be fit for the meeting. Choice of reserve guests will be crucial. Think Baldyman is about right on the points.
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
If my maths is right a 15+ point win for the Witches would mean a draw at Plymouth would be enough to top the group. Between 7 and 14 and a 3 point win needed at Plymouth If Rye get a point then we would needto win big at Plymouth to get 4 points AND overturn race points difference. Im confident of a win but only by 8-12. Its gonna be nailbiting stuff IMO.

I make it that a 4 point win and Plymouth puts us on 19 points and tops the group, with no swing in race points difference needed?
JamesM09
Highly doubt Boxall will ride, no reserves, not looking forward to seeing this scoreline.

Super Blue
The teams have been posted now and we could see both Gino and Steve Boxhall or neither depending on fitness levels . The guests at reserve for Rye are Rob Branford and Alex Edberg , I've no idea of their records at Foxhall but I can't see them being better than Nico and Stefan . Hopefully we should secure a reasonable victory and give ourselves an opportunity to win the group at Plymouth on Friday .
tocha
Highly doubt Boxall will ride, no reserves, not looking forward to seeing this scoreline. The report on the Rye House website states that Steve will be out for about three weeks. Therefore it is RR on Thursday with Robin Aspegren plus reserves eligible, those being guest Alex Edberg for Kasper Lykke and Robert Branford in place of the retired Luke Bowen. Ipswich will be at full strength as long as Gino Manzares passes a late fitness test.

Across 3 meetings he has averaged only 1,43. As far as I am aware it will be Alex Edberg's first time around the track.

Baldyman
Very rare that Cameron scores double figures at foxhall. I guess if he has 5 or 6 rides he might. Cameron is a far better rider on away tracks for some reason. AAspregen will score more than 3 as well

Any locals know of a pub near the track that serves decent food and open all day? Edited April 21, 2015 by Shads

But it won't interest Shads because the fish has skin on it
Christopher Bcmma Cook
Shads - I will admit my knowledge on the sport has gone off the boil, still getting to know some of the riders across all leagues, was brought up on Speedway, then my old man retired only really got back into it back end of last year. I hope i am way off and there is some close exciting racing on Thursday

As Super Blue says, the Golf is just around the corner from the stadium on Foxhall Road http://www.johnbarras.com/pub/golf-hotel-ipswich/c1740/ If you like your fish n chips, I can highly recommend the "ultimate codfather", large cod fillet skinless and boneless so right up your street, scampi, chips and bread and butter white or brown. The Golf is sound and definitely worth a try IMO.
bolly
Chris If your going to the 'Golf', maybe have a go at the 32oz Big Lad Burger. Sounds right up your street. lol and if you are in a drunken, burger fuelled state, you may not worry so much IF we are losing ))
Shadders
Thanks for the info. As it happens, the Golfs menu is almost identical to that of the Rye House pub next to the track. On a weight loss drive for our hols in a few days, so fish & chips is a no no
