tocha
Speedway on a proper track end -off. I was out this evening and my recording on SKY PLUS failed, not for the first time. Is it possible to get a streamed replay otherwise I shall have to wait until Eurosport repeat it, unlikely until the French Open Tennis finishes.

gee jay
Not as bad as Warsaw and Tampere but not as super fantastic as the Swedish commentators claimed it to be. Way to much from the gate and in almost every heat, whoever was in front was also the first across the finish line. There was NKI's pass on Greg in round but how many more were there. Better than previous years but still not good. you must have been watching a dvd of last years meeting. A much better GP than the last two, but why oh why everytime there is a false start we have sit about waiting whilst the mechanics do a 5000 mile service, I thought it was all back to the start, obviously not I'm afraid it's just they're not allowed back in the pits, liked the comment though.
Bavarian
The referee should simply immediatelyput the two minutes on for the re-start, then there would not be any unneccessary delays after an unsatisfactory start.
screm
More than a decent meeting, at least not the borefest a few predicted, Tai Woffinden must be wishing he could take the Marketa everywhere with him.
pugwash
Not good, not bad, more mediocre. I'm afraid that if you thrust mediocrity onto fans enough, eventually it will be accepted as 'the norm'.
g13webb
Fantastic meeting from Janowski, to come third in a gp just shows how much improvement he has made since he became a pirate. Also well done to Tai on a brilliant ride in the final and won me a small fortune. Such a crap comment. Magic has always been class and would have reached this level where ever he rode.. Watching him ride from Lynn 3 yrs back, he was pure quality then, I can remember when , partnering Niels, he came from the back to pass Holder and Watts as if they were standing still,. So whenever you think of Magic's improvement, is for the benefit of Poole ...... not because of Poole... Come the final, I was hoping he was going to win...... I have no doubts, one day Maciej will be WORLD CHAMPION...
Bagpuss
He has made giant strides since joining Poole though, that can't be argued. You could argue that he would have done so at Lynn if he'd stayed and I believe he would, he is so good at the AFA that his home average would be colossal and I think finishing his U21 commitments was a large factor in his improvement when he left Lynn and certainly contributed to some of his half hearted efforts for us in 2012. As for last night I thought it was decent without being amazing, there were still plenty of FTG's. Looked early doors like the gating tarts would prosper but thankfully the racers were rewarded later on. It's a pity Hancock held up Puk for so long in his semi as I think he had found a really fast set up and with another lap would have pinched second and made the final. Trees
Magic is a smooth operator, has a perfect style, Poole are lucky to have him plying his trade on their rough old track
Shale Searcher
Funny how Janowski is NOT fit to ride at Leicester tomorrow though... This cherry picking meetings when clearly not in plastercast has to be stopped, if only to stop Clubs taking advantage, and robbing fans of seeing the top riders, how many more fans will not now go to that meeting at Leicester because the added draw of another GP star has been negated.....?? Magic is back tomorrow for Poole, there's no way he couldn't be after yesterday's meeting. Anyway he likes Leicester as he showed in the ELRC, it's Belle Vue he can't ride which is why it was safer to use a guest. Mark
Doesn't really matter though does it, he's the reigning World Champion, can't get much better than that. Been an entertaining meeting but let's face it after the last 2 it didn't have to be much to show an improvement. Here's hoping Tai can keep forging ahead in the points race by winning the final. He's boring. So it does get better than that.
nw42
He's boring. So it does get better than that. So was Ivan Mauger but he's still considered right up there amongst the greats of the sport. I love to watch exciting riders but I wouldn't knock riders like Greg for being steady and successful.
