Glasgow Tigers V Edinburgh Monarchs - League Cup 19th April 2015

Recommended Posts

Tigers looking a bit vulnerable Imo

I'd agree. Heat leaders not showing early doors the home track dominance expected. Still, early days.

Cook & Masters both blew engines on Friday night, so they might be struggling to have their equipment up to the normal high standard.

Expect a reasonably comfortable win for the Buckfast Boys on their home patch.

Wish I shared your view. Masters looked very comfortable around Ashfield guesting for Bandits.

And Cook is Cook.

Back from my wee break down south , looking forward to this . Charlie Monk stand is bound to be mobbed again , had to move to the fourth bend two weeks ago , but will be a cracking atmosphere on a sunny day and may the best team win as long as it's the Tigers :drink:

Well after picking up only the one point last night it makes a win today imperative and to stop them gaining any point's to stand any chance on topping the group the ball is clearly in the hands off the Monarch's on qualification but they face two tough away fixtures to us & Workington.

Hoping that we can sort out the mechanical problems that we seem to constantly have, It cost us point's last night and if we are all not on the gas from the start today then i fear a possible away win will be on the cards we need Kozza to really up his game in particular but I am sure he will not be over the moon and know's what he has to do.

Agreed hopefully it will be a belter with an Edinburgh last heat 5-1 to win it

No we don't want none of that nonsense , I still shudder when I remember that time you got a heat 15 5-0 to win at Ashfield a few years back . So there will be none of that at the Peugeot Arena today :nono:

clones v smugs... who will it be ?... think glasgow need to move kozza away from laws before he wipes out one of cumbrias greatest.. last night he almost had richard off a few times and into the fence. wont be long before kozza or richard are moved apart.. racing each other at worky last night..

the forum has had ist smemory/ram super boosted for its sudden input of banter between these two clubs. one saying why they lost. the other saying why the won and every one else having a pop at em.. like me..

I seem to recall the snugs having a laugh at us Tigers for needing a tactical to win at Berwick! Needing a tactical and losing must be pretty grim then????

Cookie was great today also! Looking forward to his excuses! ;)

Get in there Glasgow nothing better than seeing the smugs get beat fair and square by the better team. Where have they gone can't read their comments! And they aren't worried bout Cook's form? The lad has gone as far in the sport as he can and Masters is the better rider this season. Well done Glasgow. As for the Monarchs the rest of the premier league are loving it!

Wasn't there today so can't comment too much but it looks like Sedgy being off the pace was the difference.

Well done to the Tigers on their victory, should be a few good battles this season.
