george.m
The countdown has started to the most passionate derby meeting in British speedway. Monarchs fans boast their team are the current holders of the Premier Trophy, Premier League, the Knock Out Cup and Premier League Pairs. Even though their website obviously doesn't think any of this is important enough to record!. Monarchs are the clear favourites for this one. Collectively they have more experience and knowledge of the Ashfield circuit. The home team are still getting to grips with it and experimenting with their riding order. Tigers are the new kids on the block. It's David v Goliath. Monarchs have everything to lose. It would be a major shock if they didn't take all the points. The pressure is on them. Tigers currently sit at the top of the Border Section of the League Cup table, Monarchs second. For once, there's more to this one than bragging rights. Assuming no injuries before Sunday, the team's should line up: Tigers: 1. Richard "Who's Chris Holder" Lawson 2. Kozza Smith 3. Aaron Summers 4. Dimitri Berge 5. Nick Morris 6. Victor Palovaraa 7. James Sarjeant Monarchs 1. Craig "It's all gone quiet on Facebook" Cook 2. Justin Sedgmen 3. Kevin Wolberts 4. Erik RIss 5. Sam Masters 6. Max Clegg 7. Rob Branford The big questions to be answered: Will the Tiger's reserves continue their progress and contribute more then their opposite numbers? Who'll come out top in the clashes between the team's two top riders - Lawson and Masters? Will Cook complain about the track? Will Mothercare sell out of dummies? Have UPS delivered Two Kevs two new engines? Is that one engine for each Kev? Will any Monarchs fans turn up? What faults will they find this time with Scotland's premier speedway venue? Will they understand what H and C means on the toilet taps? Will the tapes work? Are the Tigers up to the task? All will be answered on Sunday.
Mr Blobby
Edinburgh win Cook to rack up an easy maximum and the real Kevin wolbert with his new engines to bang in double figures. Oh almost forgot. To be feeling as smug as ever when the meeting finishes, whatever time that may be this week
Cj69
Gutted to be missing this. The atmosphere will be amazing something that has been lacking for years. Last heat decider would be nice, just bring an extra ambulance if that happens be a few dodgy heartbeats. Cant bring myself to predict a Glasgow win so will say Cook and Masters 5-1 to win the meet 44-46.

Fenway Bleachers
How many Weegies will fall ill in the main stand this week? What kind of beer are they selling? Will the meeting be over at 6pm ? Whose knicker elastic will be employed as tapes this week? Will the sun put the meeting under threat ? Will Dickie throw a sickie? Might Spud get a haircut? Lock up your daughters cause Nick is on his bucking steed. Turn up in the peoples republic of Possilpark just before 4 for the start of the fun to find out who will top the Border Group and assume bragging rights for 5 days until the Armadale return.R Edited April 16, 2015 by Fenway Bleachers

Fenway Bleachers
Don`t think half the meeting will be over at 4 Dorothy...... 1st two meetings started at 3-20 and with a few tapes issues, paramedic alerts and dodgy beer in the main stand......?!........you just might get through a few chapters of war and peace. Weather looks set fair so maybe some ambre solaire will be required for all the "patrons". hope the tuck shop in the back straight sells cereal...........it could be along one.

Fingersfin
If you want secure parking then head past the stadium and the car park is 500 yards on your left. The walk back will keep you fit. The car park is well marked with banners.
george.m
What's the situation regarding parking at the Stadium was told the secure paring is for officials only,is this the case? For years I've parked across from the stadium in Walnut Road. Never had nor seen any problems. Usually on a Sunday afternoon there's folks out doing their gardens. george.m
We're going to need all 7 riders firing on all cylinders tomorrow to stand any chance. Edge of the seat feeling tonight.
cyclone
Cook & Masters both blew engines on Friday night, so they might be struggling to have their equipment up to the normal high standard. Expect a reasonably comfortable win for the Buckfast Boys on their home patch. Edited April 18, 2015 by cyclone
