As it is an initiative originating in Poland and it doesn't involve Britain in the slightest, cue all the accusations of what a Mickey Mouse event this will be.... ;):o

Not just a one of-taken from their website

In the 2015 season we have planned four such events.

• April 19 in Krosno

• June 3 in Pila

• July 31 in Gdansk

• 10 October in Lublin

To make your cycle, each contestant white and red will be built with foreign players selected according to other criteria. W Krośnie . In Krosno will be Team Slavic, which must host the greatest stars certainly not as outstanding players like Emil Sajfutdinov Russians and Artem Laguta and Slovak Martin Vaculik. The Eagles Pile able to meet our surprise team selected by one of the biggest stars in the history of speedway. . In Gdansk, guests will form a team of foreigners who in the past defended the colors Coast, while in Lublin comes to revenge match between our representation, and a team of Champions. The first such meeting was held at the local track in the autumn of 2013, and proved to be the proverbial hit the spot! Readers voices match "Speedway Weekly" has received the prestigious title of Events of the Year!

Is this any better ;)

W sezonie 2015 zaplanowaliśmy cztery takie imprezy.

• 19 kwietnia w Krośnie

• 03 czerwca w Pile

W Gdańsku zespół gości utworzą obcokrajowcy, którzy w przeszłości bronili barw Wybrzeża, natomiast w Lublinie dojdzie do rewanżowego meczu pomiędzy naszą reprezentacją, a ekipą Mistrzów.

I hope my translation is a bit more than just "pretty clear", so here it goes:

To make the series more attractive, each time the red and whites will face a team made up of overseas riders selected by a different criteria.

In Krosno it will be The Slavic Team which will have in its line up such riders like Emil Sayfutdinov, Artem Laguta and Martin Vaculik.

In Pila the White Eagles will face a surprise team selected by one of the biggest stars in the history of speedway.

In Gdansk, Polish team will ride against a team of foreigners who in the past represented the local speedway team „Wybrzeze”.

Whilst in Lublin, the Poles will ride once again against The Champions Team.

The first such a meeting was held at the local track in the autumn of 2013, and proved to be the proverbial „bull's eye”! Readers of Tygodnik Zuzlowy” gave it prestigious title of The Event of the Year!

The Polish national team has a schedule of fixtures to keep it occupied and the Polish u21's have a schedule of fixtures against the u21 teams of Sweden and Denmark too.

Meanwhile, back in Great Britain, home of the "Test Match", and previous hosts of test series against anyone and everyone...erm, well...NOT A LOT! Apart from the SWC Quali at KL (and arguably the Cardiff SGP), International speedway will not be served up to the British public this year.

Still, in the eyes of the BSPA, isolationism, disdain at what the Poles are doing to promote the sport, boycots of Polish promoted events and heads buried deep in the international sands is all in the best interests of British speedway...isn't it?

Good morning (here in US ) to anyone out there. Loads of good links today- watching on the Krakow link here.

On the off chance that we have any Reading supporters on here (there may be one ! :icon_smile_clown: ) total commiserations for the cruel outcome yesterday.

Can only watch the first few heats, but at least we can hope the starting gate has been oiled. ;)

Alan.

Weather looks dodgy and decidedly chilly- but we have REAL speedway in a REAL speedway stadium today!!

Thank you Polish Speedway for saving me £60 going to watch overpriced PL speedway today

Good meeting on a track which isn't the best usually for racing from what I have seen at KSM domestically

Great idea by the Poles.....

A great meeting for Grigory and I can't wait to see him and Emil in the SEC this year.

As I have posted elsewhere, we are the poor relations now where International speedway is concerned.

A dvd issue of the best of European meetings would be good...SEC, Pairs Cup and meetings such as yesterday's would make good viewing.

Give us back our Speedway.
