mdmc82
Think the champions league meeting today might give us a bit more idea on if Lambert would be ready to go head to head with some of the strongest riders in the World Cup. Good luck to him.
foamfence
Woffinden, Harris, Lambert and Cook, would be my choice, with Garrity and Lawson as standby.
RPNY
Interesting comments by Scott Nicholls on the subject of managing Team GB whilst filling in time in the Warsaw SGP show. See how long before he gets asked to explain himself at SCB Supreme Headquarters in Rugby. Â What did he say?
EnglishRoundabout
Another early exit from the competition I'm afraid.

uk_martin
Bomber,Lawson,Cook,King reserve Auty or Garrity. fullbore
Â And Rob Lambert to be left out because he rode first in Germany??? Makes about as much sense to me. Espcially as he rides on a German licence! Â And to avfoid doubt I'd certainly have him in on his home track at least. Â Niamh
Barrycuda
So who will decide whether Tai Woffinden will ride for Team GB in the up coming SWC, Rosco or the BSPA because he as not ridden in the UK Elite League this season. Would Rosco or the BSPA have an agenda for him not to ride under the Team GB banner.
norbold
Just out of interest, why is it Team GB and not Team UK? What happens if there is a good Northern Irish rider? Would he not be eligible for the team?

brewer
Should be England, after all these other little countries keep spouting off about independence organise your own teams. Edited April 30, 2015 by brewer
Bruiser McHuge
Rosco says Lambert is in the frame to get into the World Cup team at Kings Lynn.....well that's the most obvious comment of the year !....of course he is and he should be in the 4 without doubt....there are not 4 better English riders around Kings Lynn than Lambert and to ignore him in order to " protect" him as Rosco said would be criminal ... oldace
Should be England, after all these other little countries keep spouting off about independence organise your own teams. It shouldn't be England. Speedway in Great Britain is represented at the FIM by the ACU. The ACU governs 2 and 3 wheel motorsport in great britain. The team is the ACU representative team and is correctly named GB. The ACU dont represent northern ireland
Daniel Smith
Rosco says Lambert is in the frame to get into the World Cup team at Kings Lynn.....well that's the most obvious comment of the year !....of course he is and he should be in the 4 without doubt....there are not 4 better English riders around Kings Lynn than Lambert and to ignore him in order to " protect" him as Rosco said would be criminal ... The way he performed the World Speedway League meeting the other week, it would be criminal not to include him if we get past the qualifier at King's Lynn. Â There are no Brits except Harris & Woffy better than him right now (excluding Nicholls as he's not interested).

Bruiser McHuge
The way the Brits performed in this weekend's Grand Prix qualifiers only strengthens Lambert's case....Britain, outside of Woffinden and Harris are an embarrassment on the world stage and most of these failures have had their chance....to ignore Lambert would be plain ridiculous...
SCB
Give Lambert a go and if he scores nothing, well we're not worse off than King and Cook scoring nothing are we? The difference is that experience may be useful of him in future years. Woffy was thrust into the SWC at 17 and I seem to remember Nigel Pearson spunking his pants over him and the way he performed over in Denmark. weatherwatcher
It just goes to show what a sad state of affairs our sport is in this country, when it is hard evn trying to get together a team of 4 half decent riders,
