How awful, no speedway at Swindon till July 30th, these gaps are too many, and nothing on tv till 27th and then it is a borefest at Lakeside. Will have to watch GPs etc on Eurosport and consider traveling to away meeting.

Every time I'm able to go they're not running.....

It has been brought to my attention that the meeting being shown between Poole and Swindon on Aug 19th is shown on the sky web page as being on Monday Aug 17th which is interesting as we are racing at BV that night.

Can this organisation not get things right or have the meetings been changed and the bspa not told.

It was announced on sky as 19th August

I personally would prefer the Belle Vue and Swindon meeting on sky on the 17th esp with them both chasing play offs.

Swindon got thrashed by Poole this week so the meeting on the 19th may end up being one sided.

@SkySpeedway: Speedway on Sky Sports

August 11, 19 & 31

September 9,

Play offs both meets Sept 14 & 21

Grand Final both legs 28 & 30

Maybe it's just me but with only 4 meetings left to be televised before the play offs, I feel like there haven't been many on at all this season.

Think they have missed the opportunity of a close meeting in the Belle Vue V Swindon one on 17th.

I concur, sky coverage much like live EL this year, sporadic, same teams, poor weather with rain-offs and rain affected results.....

Used to be every Monday, with the occasional Wednesday show.

Seems like the season never really got going...

Could it be that SKY are getting fed up with Speedway?

They've already abandoned the GPs - how much longer before they ditch League Racing as well?

Genuine questions.

What major sponsor would No Go Speed then get in, would this be one they have been looking for for umpteen years?.

Poole v Swindon no longer being broadcast Sky are starting to irritate me hoping Eurosport take over from them.

Forecast is heavy rain at Poole tomorrow which apparently is why it has been changed.

King's Lynn V Coventry is now being shown as the forecast was good. however Sod's law, since changing it, king's Lynn's forecast has changed to rain at 8.30.

I hope sky get on with it if rains forecast as Kings Lynn did a great job of getting their last meeting done quickly when there has been a threat of rain.

I think what it is for me mate is Sky seem to lack interest in Speedway now meetings have been far between used to like watching a meeting every Monday night guess I am disappointing.

I completely agree. Seems to have hardly been any meetings this year.

Eurosport seem to have more interest in Speedway and the coverage is good so I really hope they could take on the meetings.

This is the Eurosport that has a contract for weekly live Swedish League racing and has managed to find time to show about four live meetings so far since May?

This is the same Eurosport that showed after-meeting chat from a bike racing event rather than the first few heats of one of their own European Championship meetings?

This is the same Eurosport that relegated DGP and SWC events to Quest and failed to show the rearranged SWC Final live?

They may have the deals at the moment but their scheduling is chaotic.

The fact that speedway live or otherwise has been on Tuesdays is still better than the efforts of Sky this season. However it appears that most forms of 'oval racing' are suffering a decline in spectator interest. Watching Motors TV, the numbers watching stock cars, hot rods and bangers at Ipswich and other raceways were woeful. Is this a sign that however scarce the coverage is,people would rather sit at home and watch highlights or the odd live TV meeting than attend a live oval motor sport event
