Baldyman
I think this maybe be a 30 plus point win for the witches.
ZODIAK
A few Peterborough fans were thinking the same yesterday too but Plymouth put in a much better performance so who knows which Plymouth will turn up Thursday! Super Blue
Morten to get a max ? Â Maybe not , depends on if there's another line apart from the white one . Â I would like to think it will be a nice comfortable win , certainly enough to deny Plymouth taking anything from it . Â The weather should still be good , if a tad cooler than the next couple of days are supposed to be . dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Should be comfortable by at least 20 but cant take anything for granted. Its the away meetings that will decide our qualification fate.
Baldyman
Well we are basically out then , as we won't win at Somerset I very much doubt
Pob
Out don't understand as still got Rye house at home and Somerset and Plymouth away. Ok can't see us getting anything at Somerset but if we win both the home matches then win at Plymouth surely that would be enough to take us through ? dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Even with a win at Plymouth (which certainly isnt a given) we may well still need at least point from the Somerset visit.
CardinalSin
"Thursday's meeting is sponsored by Holmes Plant & Construction and a new event will be introduced at the end of the night, a 'Witches Shoot Out' Rather than just picking a rider of the night we are now offering the meeting sponsors the opportunity to pick their choice of four Ipswich riders to race off in the Shoot Out to determine the rider of the night. We will add the total points up for the season and then have a Super Shoot Out at the final team meeting to find the Meeting Sponsors 'Rider of the Season'. This obviously gives fans the added bonus of an extra race to watch every week!"  http://www.ipswichwitches.co/index.php/news-centre/940-witches-ready-for-devils-on-Thursday  I like that!

CardinalSin
Â Isn't that a bit risky, Injury wise? if the worst case happened someone makes a mistake and wipes someone out? Not really. I'm sure they'll be made aware beforehand to be sensible.

Roland
Bruv makes a valid point in post #7.....gonna need a point at the OTA, if everything else goes to plan. Â Just another thought..........whats the deal with Fisher?

So that's King, Tungate, Manzares and Heeps every week then... unless One of the other 3 have a great meeting! (Wink)
NeilWatson
Even with a win at Plymouth (which certainly isnt a given) we may well still need at least point from the Somerset visit. The 5/4/4 groups add an extra twist as being second in the group may well not be enough for qualification if one of the other groups becomes a two-horse race. Baldyman
So is it the top 2 that go through, or just the winner?
Super Blue
The winner of each section and the best single runner up from the 3 groups goes through, so pretty much not the Witches if we don't win ours! Â Or am I being a tad cynical?
Baldyman
Surely we will be one of the teams..or are we only league favourite's  You Can't be cynical mate, people won't like it.. dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Best average match points for 2nd. Â So if 2nd in our group gets say 16 points then a team from one of the other groups would need 13+.
bigcatdiary
It's based on what each team averages per match so big home wins and good scores away, at the moment Rye have the best in our group courtesy of the 60 plus thrashing over Plymouth.
