Panthers89
Here's hoping for a draw or an away win.
Shadders
Very gloomy and wet this morning. S'posed to clear up later early afternoon. After last weeks defeat the Rockets will want to put on a show. Most are in decent form. Hopeful Steve Boxall has sorted his bikes out. Much will depend on Rockets guest reserves Graverson and Sarjeant. Cautiously predicting a home win, but not by much
Gazza66
I think this could be a big home win.
JamesM09
Graverson and Sarjeant are good guests IMO, a bit of dirt on the track will help us big time. Should be a win for the Rockets.
westhamboy66
No points for Plymouth tonight i think. Graverson and Sarjeant are two decent guests. Despite last weeks blip against a very good team we can still top the group if we can take a few points on our travels to Plymouth and Ipswich. Kasper is being missed big time, may well be wait and see but surely we must try and replace luke asap although it might not be that easy. Shadders
Sun is blazing down between the clouds now, so it all looks good for tonight. Hope last weeks track problems have been rectified. The last thing you need is pi$$ed off riders.

Shadders
Only a close 42 points then Shads... Plymouth absolute gash tonight and we were on it from the start.
Bandits4eva
And the score doesn't reflect the fact that there was decent racing either!
Dietbowers
34 points in total in the meeting from former Wasps riders....if only we were still going....
Former devil
Well I knew it would be a hammering tonight but even I didnt expect it to be by that many. Â Not sure why the fans on the Plymouth forum are so surprised at Newmans abysmal performance though, he has never had a decent meeting at Rye and whilst it is in his head that he dislikes the track, he never will. He only beat a reserve tonight, his other points came only by finishing 3rd and beating his team mate. I was shocked Plymouth chose him for captain, surely Risager would be the better option as he has years more experience. Also surprised that the fans are moaning that he top scores for Poole..well that is because he is essentially beating Pl reserves for most of his rides! Â I said at start of Season Fisher was not going to be a good enough no1 and so far that has been confirmed. Â I see the hardcore fans are now moaning about the manager but that has been a concern of mine for a couple of years. So much for his promise on the centre green last night that the team would come back fighting after the home defeat, it seems that heads were down tonight from the off. Â The Promotion need to get their act together and be open with the paying fans instead of being dishonest. They knew Thursday night that Proctor wouldnt be guesting on Friday but the fans werent aware until the team was announced on the centre green! Probably because they knew a fair few fans wouldnt attend if it was r/r, as that will never work on an average as low as Kyle's!

Bandits4eva
Former devil  Ryan Fisher.... I used to really dislike the bloke when riding for the Monarchs. Tonight though, that was just sad to watch! A very very big shadow of the rider he used to be... nowhere near being competitive!  The real show stopper from tonight was Jakobsen. . He will be number 1 for Rye at the end of the season.. he really is something special!
Bagpuss
Newman is beating more than just PL reserves for Poole.
Shadders
Only Jack Holder can come away from Rye satisfied with his performance. Couldn't gate for toffee, but on the pace and battled for every point. Fisher was absolute pony. Nowhere near the pace and a complete let down. Despite the score line there was some decent close racing. The guest reserves were pretty decent, Sarjeant more so than Graversen. Good to see the bar packed out after the meeting. Former devil
Newman is beating more than just PL reserves for Poole. Hence why i sad 'most' and not 'all', just not realistic to think he will get similar scores in the team at PL then from reserve at EL
Bagpuss
Most of the riders he has beaten have been PL heat leaders or second strings or full time EL, with a few PL reserves in there too. I think its realistic to expect him to at least maintain his scoring from last season and while he is doing that in the EL he certainly isn't in the PL.
