Cue Ball
I disagree, I don't think that they should keep it going 😃 The Tigers have done alright so far the year and so I thnk they should keep it going

Tigerite
I never expect too much from the Tigers when we go to Newcastle, we just don't usually ride the tight circuits well. I'll be happy if we don't disgrace ourselves and have 7 fit riders at the end of the meeting and getting within 6 points would be a bonus. The Redcar away meeting is the key one for us. dantodan
Yes Owlerton and Brough are entirely different tracks and whatever Tigers fans say about their teams chances at Newcastle we will be thinking the same about our trip to Yorkshire. I am looking forward to watching Simon Stead. He can ride Brough Park

Bagpuss
Good test of Sheffield's credentials this, an away match at a track where they traditionally struggle against a side who look one of the weaker ones on paper.

Think Bates could be a key man here for the Tigers if he uses his head. Like most Sheffield fans not expecting too much from this meeting, as usual. Would appreciate weather updates - good idea to sheet the track!

Would appreciate weather updates - good idea to sheet the track! Yes, and I can confirm that sheets were down this morning before the track got wet. The rain started just as we were finishing the sheeting so the track is OK. The rain is forecast to stop at about 2.00pm, when the sheets will be lifted to prepare the track for tonights meeting. Now in the hands of the weather gods. If it stops raining, we have a meeting with a good track. I will give further updates through the afternoon, especially for those who have to travel.
