Panthers V Plymouth - Lc Sunday 12th April - 3pm

Recommended Posts

don't think mpt will stop at p/borrough ? unless he finds a miracle sponsor, he,s offski as he cant commit to a full uk season.

if tofty goes. puddy cats will be weaker . but they need to show faith in Adam, (even though he has to pay for new kevlars) that toft is wearing now!!!

Which part of "Palm-Toft appears to have had a change of heart about racing in the UK in 2015" don't you understand?

the part i haven't seen or read yet.

That's the danger of posting when you don't know what you're on about. Also, as you find all things Panthers so interesting, I thought you'd have read it on page 2 of the Plymouth v Panthers thread?

Why on earth do you let the Workington troll get under your skin? Most of what he posts is bull$hit. Have you not grasped that yet?

Panthers now lead at the interval

Track really slick with only one line. Seems like we struggle to set the track up on a Sunday.

I wouldn't say it had one line - there were two nice blue ones by the end of the match, plus it was also possible this time to ride out near the fence as it wasn't like a ploughed field. I actually really enjoyed it today and counted only 3 heats where there were no passes. I love Peterborough - the racing, music, announcer, everything...... except the journey. Well done to the Panthers on their win (thank goodness) but also to Plymouth for riding so well, when due to recent results I was expecting an easy win ~ the Devils obviously had other ideas. Very nice to see Star Lady before the meeting started. :t:

Any announcer is good compared to that idiot you have at Coventry!

was surprised that the ref allowed Risager to restart his bike and complete the race for 1 point after falling in heat 9 on lap 4 turn 1...

was waiting for the red lights didn't come on with Risager laying flat on his back with Lambert and Blackbird about to thunder across the finish line into turn 1 - where he was laying..

He didn't have outside assistance and I'm sure was within the time limit so no reason for him not to complete the race.

Whether the ref should have flashed the red lights after the finish I'm not so sure, but even then, if it was after the finish surely the race technically wouldn't have been stopped so Risager could have finished quite legally.

I think that every situation I have seen similar to this with a rider lying on the track in the 1st/2nd bend area and the others about to finish the last lap, the red lights have come on prior to riders finishing the race so that they have slowed before passing the prone rider.

Didn't happen in this case, bit of an unusual one IMO
