SteveLyric2
HansAndersen hang your head in shame. The losing margin was what you should have scored. Did Mat Ford pay you to throw the match? The knack that Coventry haven't got the hang of yet is to have a first bend rut where the home riders can avoid it!!
mdmc82
Hopefully we will have a different ref on Wed Good fight back from the boys esp Kylmakorpi but the exclusions plus a terrible night for our number one left too much to do. Did well to lose only by 7 when you consider that.
Robert Lee
Well done Cov for using rr rather than a guest so they could lose Nothing to do with RR v guest or Manager's decisions. Our No 1 couldn't be bothered and gave the match to the visitors.
SteveLyric2
So its a big 4-point well done to the Pirates at Brandon this evening. I thought I'd better say it as it doesn't seem as though any of the Bees regulars can bring themselves to!! Yet its Poole fans who are accused of not losing gracefully?! Now with our injuries, Coventry are just as likely to win on Wednesday!

SCB
Nothing to do with RR v guest or Manager's decisions. Our No 1 couldn't be bothered and gave the match to the visitors. It's as much the managements fault as Hans'. Why no TR? 3 points thrown away why a guest when R/R could have scored 2 more? Another 2 points thrown away but also 2 points given to Poole. Could have eeked a win out with a competent manager. And why isn't Kylmakopi at 2 so that we get off to a good start with him form a good gate in the first race? Might have prevented up being 5-1d in the first race which always leaves you in a less than ideal position.

Was really annoyed on way home but only positive is even with our number 1 not scoring and no Robbo against a strengthened Poole side we only lost by 7. Starman2006
Magic has a badly swollen knee from his clash with Harris and Kacper a painful arm from his fall. That doesn't sound very good. Great result tonight and a big 4 points. #piratepride If only we have a idiot team manager though! Should have used a TR in heat 6. And should have used R/R for Robbo meaning a ride for JK. Could been drawing now after 14. In stead we've lost! Pathetic. Tell you what, why don't you apply for the job, im very sure you could do better... Not, mind its a long old jaunt from the outback on a sheeps back!! Safe journey home, don't get caught speeding now !!! Edited April 10, 2015 by Starman2006

I'd agree that Hans was a huge let down. Scoring anywhere near what he shouldve would have won us the meeting. Newman impressive although very lucky to get another chance in heat 12. From my position I also thought Harris was unlucky in heat 3 although my angle suggested he was slightly ahead but I concede at a different angle it may have looked different. I have no issue with the result in the end, the first 5 heats won it for Poole.
mdmc82
@Hansi_Andersen: Oh dear that didn't go to plan 😟 just couldn't do anything right, bike spat itself then winning a race and the Premier chain snaps 👎 #NewDay Hoping he bounces back on Wednesday. TheSmiler
Amazingly decided to spend my 18 quid buying crown paints emulsion on the way to Brandon tonight - only hope it doesn't look as bad on my walls and ceiling as the bees have looked tonight (thanks speedway forum) Can only think that Watson and Horton have done something to urinate on Hans Anderson for him to put on a seemingly second string performance - however the same goes for the rest of the "team" Not even mid-April and already can see how the rest of the season is going to pan out. On the plus side, at least the residents of the local Binley Woods area will NOT have to put up with the noise of speedway bikes from early September onwards. happy days alround for me - have discovered that B&M stores do 2 for 1 on Crown emulsion, plus I didn't have to endure 2 hours of dross at Brandon. As if it matters, I will be going along to the u21's on Tuesday to see riders who do "give a damn". happy Are you actually being serious? One loss and you write the whole season off. This was always going to go one way or the other. I'm not defending Hans as that was shocking but are you forgetting Saturdays result already? For God sake one loss and you've written off a whole season. Pathetic.

When you think we only lost by 7pts when our number 1 spent all night having bike problems and our riders were excluded in point scoring positions, I think this can be counted as a blip. 1st loss of the season by couple of points against one of the strongest teams in the league on a night plagued by bike problems and exclusions. Still 3rd in the table. Edited April 10, 2015 by mdmc82
TrueBee
No excuses on the night (Heeps was obviously a poor choice), Poole were just better tonight. Meeting pretty dull so I haven't missed much in over a year since my last appearance. Not sure why the Garrity exclusion is being questioned as he took Newman's wheel away. Can't really use the excuse that we got excluded in point scoring positions either. Magic was obviously injured and what would Poole gain from withdrawing him?! Hopefully the meetings aren't this dull all year for the fans that attend regularly.
Mjolnir
As a neutral for this fixture, some of the comments by the texter on the speedway updates site absolutely cracked me up! Highlights include: "Worth heading down to the A46 to see some passing because there won't be any here." "Could lose a bike down the massive rut on the inside of bend 1 but no one has hit it yet." "Great gate by 2 Bees. Joonas seemed intent on riding King into the burger van rather then riding together" "Danny 'cowboy' King might want to go and grab a trusted steed rather then the bike he is on tonight" "Harris then wound it on and produced a stunning and ultimately pointless ride to pass North on the line." Wherever you are Silverbee - sorry that Coventry didn't win as it's never fun to lose at home, but thanks for the humour (and to the speedway updates site)! CB252
This shouldn't stop us from qualifying for the Playoffs and our shot at being the losing finalists. Writing ominously on the wall for the rest of the League. I think even the Poole fans are tiring of it now! Worst thing really was the atrocious racing once again (Harris apart) and the total lack of anything resembling entertainment to encourage anyone to attend again. mdmc82
Well done to both sets of fans on their part in the applause for Nigel Boocock tonight. Lovely tribute to him. If asked honestly Poole fans, when Watt is fit to return, would you prefer to have him back in the team or keep Josh/Guest? Bombers number 1 fan.
Great crowd which was good to see. However, a very poor and dull meeting which was a shame as it was my first meeting in some time! Well done to the Pirates on their win
CB252
Also, the number one is an embarrassment and should have been put in the stocks on the centre black after the match! Worst performance from a Bees number 1 in the history of the club (including Kasprzak 2013 model).
