Star Lady
Taken from Lynn website Belle Vue In Town As Stars Target VictoryPosted on April 6th, 2015 This coming Wednesday, 7:30pm, the King’s Lynn ‘Roger Warnes Transport’ Stars will entertain the Belle Vue Aces at the Adrian Flux Arena. The Stars will be aiming to bounce back from the defeat at Lakeside last week as they look to climb up the Elite League table. Nicklas Porsing is fit enough to take his place back in the team after missing out on the Stars trip to Lakeside last week. That means the Stars are back to full strength for the fixture on Wednesday. Stand-in team manager Dale Allitt has named an unchanged lineup for the meeting after seeing his side beat the Hammers 58-34 at the Adrian Flux Arena last Tuesday. Allitt said ahead of the meeting: “I have enjoyed my time in charge of the senior team and I would like nothing more than adding more points to our league total. “We were disappointed with the result at Lakeside, but we need to put that behind us and concentrate on Wednesday night. If the team ride to their ability then I believe that we have the strength to win.” The Aces have been tipped by some to be in the final four come playoff time, and after assembling a side that features a top five of GP star Matej Zagar, Team GB internationals Scott Nicholls, Simon Stead, Craig Cook and Australian under-21 champion Max Fricke, it is easy to see why. The meeting is set to be a close encounter with plenty of high-speed action at the Adrian Flux Arena. Gates will open at 6pm on Tuesday with the parade taking place at 7:30pm. Admission prices: Adults £17, Concessions £14, Juniors £5, Kids under 11 go FREE. King’s Lynn Stars 1. Niels-Kristian Iversen, 2. Robert Lambert, 3. Rory Schlein, 4. Nicklas Porsing, 5. Kenneth Bjerre, 6. Lewis Kerr, 7. Ashley Morris Belle Vue Aces 1. Matej Zagar, 2. Max Fricke, 3. Scott Nicholls, 4. Craig Cook, 5. Simon Stead, 6. Steve Worrall, 7. Stefan Nielsen Lynn obviously expecting a massive crowd. Hope tey have plenty of eggs and bacon for the cooked brekkies

A ORLOV
Tent and camping stove are loaded ready to be at the gate for 6pm tonight I understand that the management have issued instructions to move on any tramps and dossers hanging around the stadium tonight.
pointsmeanplayoffs
Weather looks good, Buster should have plenty of time to perfect the track : ) How solid is that Belle Vue side?!? No weak links in that top 5. Hopefully Kenneth will sort his form out otherwise I fear that we may lose here. Cannot keep relying on Niels to win the big heats and I recall Zagar was decent last year when he tried. A home win, by 1 point, would do me.

Well thats me out of the equation then. I have never been called a Dosser although I have to admit it has sounded pretty close to that. Will you save me a place as won't be able to travel down until after the Wolves match tonight. I think by the time you get here the Queue will have stretched back to the Southgates.

g13webb
I didn't realise there were still so many, fine weather supporters. I thought most of the sports genuine supporters that are left, are die hard nutters like me, who go every week, but obvious not.. Here we are, a month into the season, and some haven't been yet, they're some can't be bothered, and others don't know whether they're going or not........ What has this sport succumb to ??? How can this sport survive with support like that. ...... Well Buster, I will be there as per usual, supporting our local team, win lose or draw, Close meeting or not, Good racing or not, Crap track or not I'll be there. I'll witness all the good and the bad, I will smell all the fumes, I will drink all the coffee, and whatever the result I will thoroughly enjoy myself..... and I will go again next week..... That's the reason the wife calls me a speedway nutter............. And I'm proud of it...... Edited April 7, 2015 by GRW123
mrss
From 1991 to 2012 myself and my son only missed a handful of home meetings then he left home and going to speedway on my own isn't the same. Speedway as a sport has lost the atmosphere and excitement it had years ago. Hopefully I will read good reports about tomorrow's meeting and perhaps I will get the speedway bug again. Personally I have found it very difficult to get excited so far through a combination of the price rise, cold weather and ordinary racing carrying over from last season. Hopefully a milder evening tomorrow and an exciting match will rekindle my speedway mojo.
Trees
Sure the opposition will provide a stiff test for our boys tomorrow, that has gotta mean a good meeting hasn't it? What do they do at Norwich City to get the fans revved up for the action?
Bagpuss
Yep a close meeting will be good but some overtaking would represent value for money for me! Hmmmm NCFC don't really need to do an awful lot, a full stadium for each home game with lots of media coverage does the job. Always playing for something ie promotion or relegation has helped as well over the last six or seven seasons.
mdmc82
Predict a home win. Think King's Lynn will be too strong for Belle Vue
