crescent girl
Matej Kus took a heavy shoulder knock in false start of Heat 3 at Sheffield last night, was uncomfortable thereafter. This in addition to machinery difficulties resulting from the tangle with Ty Proctor. He is undergoing treatment to his shoulder today but would have been unable to race in Redcar's (now cancelled) meeting planned for tonight, and with such doubts Berwick and the rider have agreed his name should be withdrawn from Saturday's line-up. Berwick have therefore recruited his team-mate Lasse Bjerre (who had been lined up to race for the Bandits at Newcastle last week in another postponed meeting) to take up the No 1 slot tomorrow.

Excellent choice Bjerre would have been my first choice given the limited options available but I could see the logic in choosing Kus, but getting Bjerre in rather than R/R at such short notice is a smart move. Booking guests must be a logistical nightmare at times. Edited April 3, 2015 by sparkafag
Bandits4eva
Excellent choice [/size] I agree there... as good as matej is around Berwick, I felt we needed someone just a wee bit stronger... nice replacement
screm
Forecast is far better for tomorrow than the weather we`ve had today, Saturday`s forecast is mostly cloudy with some bright spells, but more importantly no rain is forecast. Berwick certainly have their work cut out tomorrow, but we have proved the critics wrong before, a win tomorrow will do wonders for team confidence and moral, and give the fans something to shout about to. Weeyin
looking forward to my wee trip down to bandit country, always a good day out. Think we might be in with a chance of nicking a point, hopefully Victor will do as well as he did at Armadale with 10 points from 6 rides and only 1 last place..

Lioness
Great result for the tiggers, you signed a good one in Nick Morris. some of us knew that when he first came over in 2010 :)
bigeddiechek
Well done Tigers, good comeback after a strong start from the Bandits. Palovaara and Berge, good prospects. For us, good to see Luke getting into the mix, a good score from Alex and Voldrih showing signs of getting a bit of speed. I think if Claus hadn't come off (don't know what happened) we would have still just sneaked it.
emilali
Possibly the most mind numbingly boring meeting I have ever witnessed. Glasgow got themsleves together once they started gating and were always going to win. For Berwick Doolan started well and faded, the Slovenian cant gate for toffee so clearly going to be a good Berwick rider. Vissing disappointing in my opinion. TJ ok nothing more, he should really have won ht14. The track produced absolutely no racing sadly, not having a go just an observation, very disappointing. Get beat again next week and I think the healthy crowds will just tail off.
Mr Blobby
Was in the area earlier in the day so I thought I would pop along and see some speedway. Wish I hadn't It was horrible to watch.Berwick started well by getting out the gate but second half of the meeting was a different story Glasgow started trapping and even if a Berwick rider was faster there was no chance you were going to pass anyone. The track was so slick and bare it was ridiculous. Edited April 4, 2015 by Mr Blobby
Fromafar
That was simply just gate and go ,poor racing.

Gazc
Well a meeting off two half's if ever there was one with the Bandits dominating the first half and a turnaround in gating saw us dominating the second half of the meeting little chance off any passing so gating was paramount. Pleased to get our season off to a winning start and Rich & Nick in 13 & 15 were just sublime Rich's move in 15 to block Doolan's run and allow Nick through was pretty impressive stuff another enjoyable day in Bandit territory with the result making it a better day albeit the racing was from the gate stuff hopefully the travelling Bandits will have as an enjoyable day tomorrow as we did today but without the away win part. I think you will be suitably impressed with the stadium and the usual Glasgow hospitality. Was in the area earlier in the day so I thought I would pop along and see some speedway.
