Thinking of going to this now.Having seen the forecast has changed for the Thurrock area and it is just meant to be dull and grey.Hopefully the Stars will be able to brighten it up.

Having watched the recording of Tuesday's meeting again, I didn't realise just how poor the Lakeside team actually gated. I always thought that was the Hammer's forte, bearing in mind their small track. And I can't believe that will be the case, again... I'm in no doubt they will be a different kettle of fish today though. But saying that, and the fact we won there last year, I feel it won't be such a one sided affair, that the meetings at Lakeside once were.

We are more than capable of getting a point at least, probably even more...........

Thanks for the updates Bryn.Haven't been to Lakeside since the Arena Essex days never really enjoyed my times watching the racing there(may have something to do with Lynn getting stuffed every time)Nothing else to do today so what the hell at least we should be more competitive than we were in those dark times :D

Three heat winners away from home does not a title challenging team make. Very early days but one rider in particular stands out from that scorecard and needs to do much, much more. If he can't then he needs replacing before it's too late if the club are serious about winning things. That said the scoreline is probably par for the course as far as Lynn at Arena are concerned.

Did you not win at Purfleet last year?

Couldn't agree more. Everyone needs to pull their weight and, if they don't, quick and tough decisions have to be made. There is no room for passengers.

Kenneth has lost his Readypower sponsorship not sure if that has anything to do with his form that said in Rory's testimonial I thought he looked very fast and smooth and he did win the meeting but since then he's struggled but it is very early days and come October should we make the play off final no one will remember today's meeting - that said it was a poor performance from Kenny .

Richard Lawson ... absolutely brilliant! He's come such a long way since he first rode for us.

After running a last in his first ride, AJ looked better but he still seems to lack a bit of straight line speed. He was gating much better though and his track craft was excellent - I'm sure he'll get his set up sorted soon.

Another good meeting for Kim and Eddie too. I was very impressed with Steve Boxall who fought hard and rode well - and was very lucky that his fall in his 2nd ride wasn't worse! Mikkel's performance was a bit concerning (especially after Tuesday) but it's early in the season and I'm sure he'll turn it around soon.
