g13webb
Maybe Kings Lynn shouldn't pack there team out with home track specialists Talk about Pot- Kettle. I've been told we were as bad today, as the Hammers were at ours on Tuesday. That was neither planned or expected Probably we aren't as good as we had thought. Should've done better than that...... Just goes to show, teams can't afford to carry anybody. With the stronger format this year, all riders need to step up to the plate.............. Kings Lynn will undoubtedly travel better than they did today this season, but with the way our team is built this year I'm confident we will too. I look forward to seeing the progress that Lambert makes this season - he is surely a big part of the future of British speedway!

Bagpuss
I agree mate, we was really poor Tuesday but no worse than Kings Lynn was today. The scorelines would say otherwise. Some of us got your tongue in cheekness by the way
The Voice Of Reason
Well I can see why l haven't been for so many years.Daughter and missus came here for the first time and said not again thanks.Best race had to be the second reserves race. Why's that - because you lost? From reading the Speedway Updates site it may not have been a classic (are any meetings these days?) but there certainly seemed to be a darn sight more overtaking and close racing than I witnessed at your place on Tuesday night! semion
What can you say about a track that makes two Premier League riders look World beaters ? As for Kenny B he will get himself sorted. Form is temporary class is permanent. I can't read to much into that result today, but I know where my money would go out of these 2 teams for a play off bet

If Iam being honest it was closer than tuesday but not by much. Not sure if it was due to the forecast of rain all week but the track was not as good as last Friday. semion
You could say maybe, just maybe GB has something special on their hands. Or should we be getting the bunting out over 2 riders coming up for 30.

A British rider who came into the sport at a fairly late age from moto-cross, has gone from reserve to a heatleader on an 15 point maximum in the space of barely two years and the best you can do is make snidey remarks. I think anyone who understands what sport is about would say "CONGRTULATIONS AND VERY WELL DONE RICHARD LAWSON, ONE OF SPEEDWÁYS NICE GUYS" .....or you can carry on sulking but still won't get you any points. E I Addio
Three heat winners away from home does not a title challenging team make. Very early days but one rider in particular stands out from that scorecard and needs to do much, much more. If he can't then he needs replacing before it's too late if the club are serious about winning things. That said the scoreline is probably par for the course as far as Lynn at Arena are concerned. In defence of Kenny Bjerre I thought he rode an excellent race in heat 13 right round the fence while AJ was on the white line. Both very close and for a couple of laps I thought Kenny might win it, but it was the Bjere of old. Completely different to his early rides so it might have been down to bike or set up. I wouldn't sack him. He is a class act even if he has his off days. Edited April 3, 2015 by E I Addio
Bagpuss
I'm not suggesting we sack him yet but we saw performances like this last year and we can't afford to go into any play off meetings carrying him like today. So the jury is out for now. Well done to Lawson on his max, good to see Brits dominating the two matches between the sides this week, team alliegences to one side of course
Wiseguy
I attended today, not a supporter of either, but do favour lakeside because of my location, have to say having watched the sky match on Tuesday the turnaround was amazing, Lawson,Kennett and Nielson completely different riders at home, NKI still looked a class act despite his last in heat 15, Schlein his usual battlnig self, Eliis and Kerr looked off the pace if i Was a Lakeside diehard i would be concerned by having Beck as a heat leader, considering his average is above Schlien's , not as good as Davey Watt imo, but enjoyed the day out

Absolutely ... if I remember correctly he was a 3 point (ish) reserve when he joined us and every time he has moved up within the team he has continued improving, despite being a big track rider by his own admission. And it's not like beating world class riders today was a one-off ... I seem to recall a particularly good meeting at Poole last year, winning heat 15! He's been rider of the year every year since joining for a reason! And a nice bloke too. if i Was a Lakeside diehard i would be concerned by having Beck as a heat leader, considering his average is above Schlien's , not as good as Davey Watt imo, but enjoyed the day out His performances certainly have been a bit concerning this week, but we've seen him put on some incredible performances home and away in the past too. He has a lot of talent, he just hasn't looked like his usual self the last couple of meetings. I'm sure normal service will be resumed soon Edited April 3, 2015 by Mjolnir
mrss
I think today's result is terrible for the stars . It's time to get rid of bjerre and bring back mads. Well done to lakeside
