BANANAMAN
Have the first 10 heats really been " FROM THE GATE " or is somebody on a wind up because it's at Leicester ?
Woz01
Bees have a win in the bag unless a disastrous 5-0 in heat 15. A message for the rest of the league. Edited April 4, 2015 by woz01

Woz01
I really didn't expect anything tonight. Bodes well for the season ahead!
Crazy robin
I can't see why fans are not rating this Bees team as they have a solid top 5 who are all more than capable of winning races & the best combination at reserve.
mdmc82
Wow never expected 3pts let alone 4pts and that was after Leicester used a TR!! Brilliant team performance with everybody contributing. Well done bees 😄 Anybody who questioned why we replaced Jamrog with JK may now see why. Big difference between 0 and 12 Edited April 4, 2015 by mdmc82
G the Bee
Great result. Puts the result from a few weeks ago into perspective. That was a glorified practise session with Leicester riding against what was, to all intents and purposes, a five man team without its number 1. This was the serious stuff.

I think we have a very good side but Leicester would be low on the list as favourite away track for the side. To get maximum points is a superb effort.
Jacques
Where are all the Leicester smugs. Where are those scoffing at us a few weeks ago? Oh dear, go Bees

I get that bit but not many fans are tipping The Bees & I think they are certs for the top 4 minimum.

I dont see many that don't expect us being in the top 4 after the change was made. I think something will have to go seriously wrong for us not to make it personally.
mickthemuppet
Good win for Coventry tonight on a track they did not expect to do well on. No weaknesses throughout the team. 22/1 looking rather good already

thecoombdog
Reading this thread it would appear that Coventry have already won the league!!! Can't believe people are gloating about betting odds after 1 meeting!
double_O
Big thanks to Cameron Heeps because that 5-1 in heat 1 over Schlein and that miserable whingeing Aussie Doyle was a big plus. As for Bees man of the match...take a bow Bjarne Pedersen
Gemini
Well what do I know? I predicted a 20 point defeat and didn't really fancy going on my own to watch a slaughter with loads of smug Lions fans around me. So glad I went now and was surprised how many Coventry fans had made the journey so it was a bumper attendance and some good racing too. Nothing wrong with that track. The only thing that was rather annoying was the amount of tractor grading that took place during the first half - every couple of races. Surely this isn't necessary as it interrupts the flow of the match. Can't they find something else for Glyn to do, like being the team manager or something.
bluebee
Just gor back. What a great win for the Bees. They looked like a side high on confidence and were able to control the match even after a T/R win from Rory Schlein. After a bit of a revival from the Lions they just settled it all down with a string of 3-3's. They definitely rode as a team shutting out any Leicester threat. Wouldn't like ti single out any one rider - they all chipped in. Hopefully, this is a sign of more to come. For the Lions - well, I'd be planning for a Pedersen replacement. Kasperjak perhaps . The Poole pedigree shines through.
