chris4gillian
9.30am gates open? Blimey, I'll have to leave home soon after 8am to make that assuming the forecast is wrong of course!
van wolfswinkel
The Knobs always beat the Moonies in Dorset. Great to see James riding again.

Najjer
What time are you leaving? Shortly after 8 o'clock - hopefully I'll be able to check throughout the journey assuming the signal is half decent.
SteveLyric2
r/r for the away meeting. Updated on the other thread - Taken from Poole website - Redeclaration now accepted. Rule 17.6 allows a guest for any 1-5. Rory Schlein guests in the evening, subject to coming through his earlier meeting at Lakeside. Â ps. Looking at the latest forecast and depending on when the overnight rain stops allowing trackstaff to start working on the track, could there be a delayed start? But he's guesting for Josh G who is a PL double upper so we can only have a PL guest or so i thought.
A ORLOV
I'm confused. Who is Schlein guesting for? Josh, which seems a bit strange when you look at their riding ability but I assume the averages have been checked out and agreed. Josh is a good rider but Rory is way better, especially at Swindon.
SteveLyric2
The rule is quite clear (whether its Josh or Davey) A guest with the same or lower average may be used for any 1-5 rider. (SCB Rule 17.6) Â Its only if there is 'no facility' for a missing rider that the PL-only rule kicks in. SCB
You cannot use an EL guest for a double upper, it's PL guests only. So I'm guessing Poole have not redeclared with Josh in but are instead going to use him as a guest for Watt when he's available.
Crump99
 I'm not too familiar with the rules  Who is? Even if you think you are, there's always an amendment on file to solve whatever issue arises.

Doesn't Watt have a higher average than Josh anyway, so it would make sense for this to be the case to make maximum use of guests when Josh is riding for Somerset? Woz01
Weirdly, I cannot find the rule in the 2014 rulebook either So Coventry could've used an EL rider to cover for Barker last season? I think we all thought it had to be a PL guest for a double upper.
DC2
On the BSPA website Josh G is in the new Poole team declaration effective immediately (today) so it's not a case of him being used as an occasional guest.
