Poole Pirates Vs Swindon Robins 3/4/15

Recommended Posts

Weather permitting Good Friday sees the Swindon Robins arrive at Wimborne Road for the now traditional home and away tussle with the Pirates.

Poole now without the services of Davy Watt having crashed whilst practicing in Poland.

This will be a close meeting and could hinge on the performances of the second strings and reserves.

Not sure if Charles Wright will be fit to ride after his crash at Somerset last Friday.

Thoughts on this meeting.

Bring on the action.

Not sure how Swindon have managed to get James Wright in place of Charles on Friday? Does he ride in the PL?

I was thinking the same - I can't see him in any PL or NL team (although I may have missed him as I was skim reading) - so can someone shed some light for me?

Surprised that James Wright is at this level now. He was a decent rider for us a few years back.

As reported elsewhere Josh G in for the morning meeting and then in a redeclared Poole 1-7 for a month or so.

Always does well with Poole. Only downside is it restricts guests when clashes as only able to get PL guest or R/R

Was he though? Flattered to deceive most of the season, apart from a purple patch mid season. His averaged was certainly helped by riding at times with the great Leigh Adams.

Why only PL guest? Has the rule changed again?
