Ipswich V Peterborough 3/4 Both Legs

Recommended Posts

Well the three of us sitting together didn't hear anything or we wouldn't have started to head to Peterborough. Having said that, it's sometimes hard to hear anything where we sit.

Same as you superblue I didn't hear anything, but we do sit together

I heard it was off *NerNerNerNerNer! :P so went straight home instead of travelliing up the A14! :t: But yes the PA System is poor!

It was mentioned on twitter by some... (including me at 15.48  ) but strange that the offical website and twitter feeds have been "dead" for days! :nono:

Where the "new" stand is along the back straight, the speakers need raising 10 foot up their poles which I am sure would help. Cant hear any interviews when sat in the stand.

Agreed, could barely hear anything, and when the Ipswich team manager got interviewed, may aswell not of bothered.

So with nico guesting at Rye house in the afternoon, let's hope his one bike can cope. I take it he has more than one engine? Cos a good slick prepared engine for Rye probably won't be much good at the grippy showground, and he won't have enough time to change an engine that day.

Thing is we didn't actually need Bowen in the end as Nielsens match at Belle Vue was called off but we stuck with him anyway and he did pretty well as it goes .

Im sure Nico will honour the booking , I just hope it doesn't end up screwing him up for the evening meeting .

There hasn't been much grip at the Showground this year!!

Just flicking through theSpeedway Star again and noticed the picture at top of the main fixture list - Bank Holiday at Foxhall and packed.

What a shame Good Friday was so sh!tty which meant although it was a healthy crowd it was not a bumper one.

Ipswich Town playing almost straight after didn't help either. Very expensive day to do both so in the majority of cases where people had to choose, the Football would have won the day in all probability.

Considering that, I thought the crowd was impressive!

I was certainly expecting a lot less.
