Bagpuss
Ellis guests for Newman (best wishes to him) and presumably R/R for Gomolski. Stars at full strength.
SteveLyric2
Hopefully the 14 point lead can be defended, especially with the possible use of the T/R yielding more than Rory managed last night?! Hopefully a safe night for all riders too!!
semion
What is the weather like in Lynn today ?
foreverblue
A shame about Newman, love watching ride and a bit worried about Adam Ellis guesting but if Paul Starke rides like last night maybe not a problem. Surprising scores from Kings Lynn heat leaders last night but i suspect they will be alot better at home.
Bagpuss
Ellis very comfortable round the Adrian Flux Arena. Still raining in West Norfolk but due to stop and brighten up in the next couple of hours. Think Poole will defend their lead tonight comfortably and possibly win on the night. As Skidder says lets hope everybody comes through safely for the serious stuff next week.

Can't see him scoring many, according to his twitter he hasn't got a mechanic for tonight yet!
Bagpuss
From kingslynnstars.co LYON CONFIDENT OF VICTORY TONIGHT Posted on March 26th, 2015 Tonight the King’s Lynn ‘Roger Warnes Transport’ Stars go into the second leg of the Elite Shield against Poole at the Adrian Flux Arena needing to overturn a 14 point deficit, and manager Rob Lyon is confident his side can win the meeting. Lyon said: “I am confident we can get a victory tonight, I will be disappointed if we don’t. Whether we win on aggregate or not is a different story, but we are certainly more than capable of doing that. I think the main thing is that the boys to get some more competitive laps and be ready for next Tuesday. “The boys will want to make amends tonight and try to turn it over and get a win on home soil.” On reflection of the first leg, Lyon added: “We struggled a little bit to be honest, it is early days and the track was usual Poole. We were in the meeting early on, the first half was tight but they had a couple of 5-1’s at crucial times and that was the difference. “I don’t think we looked like a team that lost by 14 points if I am honest. If we got a 5-1 in heat 15 then it would have gone the other way and we would have lost by only six points. Admittedly we never looked like winning the meeting. “I think it is unfair to comment at this early stage about form because it is what it is, an early season challenge. Stars reserve Ashley Morris made his debut for the club on Wednesday and Lyon was pleased with his efforts, he said: “Ashley had a bright start, looked nervous but that was expected being his first meeting back. He made a great start and looked very competitive. “I said to him it would take a little bit of time to get dialled in and back to competitive racing, he will be fine I am sure.” Gates at the Adrian Flux Arena will open at 6pm tonight with the parade taking place at 7:30pm. Admission prices: Adults £17, Concessions £14, Juniors £5, Kids under 11 go FREE. King’s Lynn Stars 1. Niels-Kristian Iversen, 2. Robert Lambert, 3. Rory Schlein ©, 4. Nicklas Porsing, 5. Kenneth Bjerre, 6. Lewis Kerr, 7. Ashley Morris Poole Pirates 1. Chris Holder, 2. Dakota North, 3. Davey Watt, 4. Kacper Gomolski R/R, 5. Maciej Janowski, 6. Paul Starke, 7. Star Lady
What is the weather like in Lynn today ? Been persistently precipitating since 5 this morning but now more or less stopped. Think you might need your thermals tho

Shouldn't the replacement have come from the reserve Fast track list. Jhnior
semion
Sounds like its going to be cold and wet. Think I leave my debut until next week, when League points are at stake. Like Rob says Its only an early season Challenge tonight, so no big deal.
foreverblue
Shouldn't the replacement have come from the reserve Fast track list. Jhnior 17.7.2.2 For a missing #6 then the Guest may be one from Tier 1 with a lower Grading or any Rider from either the Tier 1 Guest List or Tier 2 List. Sings4Speedway
Shouldn't the replacement have come from the reserve Fast track list. Jhnior Plus from memory the Tier 1 reserves were Boxhall (riding at Ipswich tonight) & Roynon (injured) As for the guest choice I would have tried to get Rose to make it a little spicy..... SCB
Shouldn't the replacement have come from the reserve Fast track list. Jhnior Adam Ellis rides for Lakeside in reserve so it on the list.

g13webb
2 miles from track. Sunny, very windy and I suspect rather chilly tonight. I'd go a bit further than that and say it will be fine and BLOODY cold. All it needs is for the fans to turn up in big numbers and dress for the occasion. That's, Vest; Tee Shirt; Jumper; Body warmer; Fleece, Jacket; Overcoat; Woolly Hat; Gloves; oh and not forgetting the Little Hip-flask . Roll on the Summer....... At least I will be there with no excuses....... Win lose or Draw...... and still have a smile on me face....

I'm afraid the lure of watching Cameron and Millipede is fractionally more entertaining than freezing within an inch of death whilst being subjected to shouty man ( not sure who coined that name but I find it very fitting)
