SCB
Do Howarth or R Lambert fit? If not then R/R might be best No. No rider who has raced EL this season or last in a top 5 fits. In simple terms, anyone on this list who has an average of 7.56 or less. http://www.speedwaygb.co/files/downloads/pl15_issue_1.pdf (but not Howarth or Richie Worrall) Edited March 28, 2015 by SCB
dabbsjoe
We were a 2 man team last night but at the same time Coventry had a few riders with off nights.
Beowulf
Robson scored 3,2* before his bike problems last week. He scored 11 on his last guest booking for us the end of last year and that was against Kings Lynn. Does that mean you don't feel Robbo wouldnt have been stronger than Kus at Brandon? Don't really think you can use a performance from the previous season as a benchmark for likely scoring eg. PK last year and then this this effort! Okay Robson did well in two rides but again no guarantee that would have continued the rest of the night. Are you suggesting that Robson over the season is going to outscore your number 1 Andersen ?

Thing you missed the point that I was making However we are both welcome to our opinion.
Beowulf
Don't be silly. Where have I compared robson to Andersen. Thing you missed the point that I was making However we are both welcome to our opinion. The point that you appear to be making is last week without bike problems Robson would have scored a max, unbeaten after two rides. You are then assuming that performance would have been repeated this week. All I am saying is that your number 1 Andersen only scored 7, therefore Robson would have outscored him. Was that really likely? I agree that Robson would have likely scored more than Kus, but by how much is pure conjecture. i You also mentioned Robson's performance from last season against King's Lynn. Performances from last year are of no relevance e.g. look at PK last night versus last year! Seems to me you wish to give no credit for a decent Wolves effort, and surely Lindgren normally does better than his score last night.

When you look at how Hans rode last night then yes possible to out score him on the night as Hans didn't score like he normally does. Feel I made one comment that Robbo would have scored more than Kus and you have unfairly blown it out of proportion. As I said welcome to your opinion. I have come on here as love speedway and not to argue so am going to leave it at that. Edited March 28, 2015 by mdmc82
Gemini
Litlle Ron used to go into the crowd and look for some away supporters every week at Middlesbrough. always had a big gang of kids following him round .. good fun and makes it a little more interesting hearing someone elses opinion for change instead of yorkie droning on .. it has been suggested to him many times but like everything else about Peter York . his ideas are firmly rooted in the 50s Now he's the only one on the roving mike perhaps he's going to up his game and get more into the 21st century. The presentation was vastly improved anyway last night. The only thing I didn't like about Peter York was his commentary on the last couple of laps but he's not doing that anymore so I'm happy.
sommelier
Summers doesn't fit. TBH, the options are not great, we have to have someone with a sub 7.5 PL average so you may as well use R/R and give Garrity 3 rides as his PL average is 7 anyway, theres not many riders between Garrity and Robbo in the PL averages. Unless we fancy giving Brady Kurtz his EL debut?! Kurtz would do you proud

T.N.T.
I was impressed with the idea of going into the crowd with a microphone. Much as the idea of Peter York interviewing me isn't exactly a thrill, its a good way of trying to get the crowd more involved. Not too sure about that bit, sounded a bit cringe worthy I thought and a bit Tony Blackburn old cheese style. Prefer the old presentation style with Chris Simpson Is Tobiasz due back Monday? Not too sure but if he is missing they have a guest on standby ...... hopefully Rory Schlein or Ben Barker Stuart Robson a doubt for Monday and they are looking at a possible guest ....... Ludvig Lindgren maybe ? Don't know that I'd call 3 1 R 2* a really off night. Beaten only by an opposition 2nd string and an engine problem....... Well seeing the 3 and 2* was from the reserves race and the 1 was beating Stefan Nielsen for a third time, it wasn't a great night for him was it. Woz01
Jason only scoring 6 is a below par score for him at Brandon and Robson probably would have scored more than Kus. Wolves missed Blackbird so it probably evened itself out. PK was awesome but Wolves should really be collecting points when a rider scores that heavily.

Woz01
but it is not a really off night like someone suggested he only scored one less than Hans A number 6 should be scoring you more than 6 points a meeting at home. Garrity previous scores at Brandon in last 7 matches 8+3, 5, 9+2, 10+2, 10+1, 11+1, 10+4. Pretty much shows that scoring 6 was below par for him, he has set high standards. He only beat the reserves on Friday evening. Hans was below par too.

philfromcov
it was great to see PK at his best. but apart from four heats 1/9/10/11 wolves were not up to much. disappointed in Lindgren giving the ref the finger, it wasnt his fault that he came off the bike with no one near him was it!
stevebrum
Just goes to show how important Blackbird is going to be ths season. He would have been good for double figures Friday night. That would have turned it into an unlikely victory. Keeping the faith.
