Coventry Bees V Wolves Friday 27th March

Recommended Posts

We seemed to make hard work of that meeting, track looked a little too wet and sticky on the outside maybe watered too late in the day.

King much better last night and Sarg gets better every week.

Poor meeting for Andersen who didn't seem at the races all night

JK will be fine once he's settled in

Roll on Monday!

Stunning performance from PK which kept us in the meeting, but asking to much to get a win when too many riders were passengers. Coventry had stronger reserve displays which ultimately swung it their way.

I was impressed with the idea of going into the crowd with a microphone. Much as the idea of Peter York interviewing me isn't exactly a thrill, its a good way of trying to get the crowd more involved.

I wonder what the problem was with Garrity's machine? The lad was making much of the fact that he had much better kit now.

Still, hopefully all problems will now be identified and sorted.

A win's a win. Kick on from here.

Hopefully he gets it sorted in time for Monday. The good thing is at least we have 2 strong reserves so when Garrity has a really off night like last night, we have Sarjeant to step up

If Robbo isn't fit for Monday then we should go with RR with the reserves and JK able to take rides.

Garrity is normally pretty good around Monmore so hopefully we'll take advantage of this

Usually I would agree but think it's a bit risky with the way Garrity's bike are at the moment. How about Summers or Howarth? Do visa rules prevent Masters guesting? Edited by mdmc82

Litlle Ron used to go into the crowd and look for some away supporters every week at Middlesbrough. always had a big gang of kids following him round .. good fun and makes it a little more interesting hearing someone elses opinion for change instead of yorkie droning on .. it has been suggested to him many times but like everything else about Peter York . his ideas are firmly rooted in the 50s

Don't know that I'd call 3 1 R 2* a really off night. Beaten only by an opposition 2nd string and an engine problem.......

Certainly was a stunning performance from PK - a rider I have always liked but has sadly never ridden for us. I'm sure he will be seeing out his career with Wolves now - back where he belongs. You're right about the presentation as it was much improved this week and even the music was better, although for it to be worse than last week would take some doing.

Enjoyable meeting but got a bit scary after the 8-1 result, even more so when it was Cov 35 Wolves 34.

The same clown was complaining about robsons 'double figure missing' points !!

Robson scored 3,2* before his bike problems last week.

He scored 11 on his last guest booking for us the end of last year and that was against Kings Lynn.

Does that mean you don't feel Robbo wouldnt have been stronger than Kus at Brandon?

Have to go r/r Monday. Please, summers with his away form!

No thanks

Summers doesn't fit. TBH, the options are not great, we have to have someone with a sub 7.5 PL average so you may as well use R/R and give Garrity 3 rides as his PL average is 7 anyway, theres not many riders between Garrity and Robbo in the PL averages.

Unless we fancy giving Brady Kurtz his EL debut?!

Do Howarth or R Lambert fit? If not then R/R might be best
