Super Blue
Unless I've missed one elsewhere I'll get this one under way. First home meeting proper of the new season is almost upon us and having pushed Rye pretty close on their own patch I would like to think this one ought to be a home win big enough to deny them anything from the meeting. Having said that from what I'm told there wasn't much dirt on the track for the Billy Sanders meeting so passing may be difficult and gating may be of paramount importance. Having been out of the country last week it's my first taste of speedway this year and looking forward to it immensely. Here's hoping for some decent racing and a reasonably comfortable Witches win. Ben91
Going to try get up to this if i can get off work early enough. Expecting a Witches win, the reserves hold the key and you'd expect Covatti and Nielsen to outscore Bowen and Lykke round their own track. That being said if Anders is on his game from his first heat and the rest of the top 5 can do as well as they did on Saturday we may nick a point. Shadders
It'll be difficult for the Rockets to get anything from this. Ipswich have had a go around their track already and have more competitive laps under their belts than our team. The Rockets rustiness showed in the early heats on Saturday. Foxhall has never been a happy hunting ground for us, so I'm expecting a comfortable home win in the region of 14-16 points. Long range weather forecast doesn't look encouraging. dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
As Shads mentioned the weather forecast is poor so fingers crossed for a favourable window to get it on. I think the Rockets could be dark horses this year and are capable of providing strong resistance at tracks like Foxhall. A 6 point win would do for me in this one. That would mean them picking up the same point we picked up at their gaff wouldn't it? Need to take the 3 points and also prevent them from picking up anything so we come out on top points wise from the two fixtures.
bolly
Trying to make it to this one. As has already been said, Mellgen and the reserves hold the key to this one. If Anders and Luke can get bikes dialled in, Kasper puts on his best gating head, we can keep this relatively close. Hoping for a similar result to Saturday just reversed. Go Rockets
2ndbendbeerhut
Mellgren always gone well at Foxhall, but 2 reserves have generally struggled, Bowen more so, Lykke with his gating. both will do well to get about 10.. Gazza66
I am making the trip up for this match. Hope it is a bit warmer than Saturday night. Would like to think the rockets could take something away from this, but can't see it in reality.
2ndbendbeerhut
Have i got this wrong but didnt Lykke ride for Glasgow last year and at reserve scored pretty well? I may have got this wrong Scored 8 from 6 in the same meeting that Nielsen guested for Glasgow and scored 8+2 himself! but only beat 3 Ipswich riders (that finished) for his points! Heat 02: Lykke, Nielsen, Heeps, Ellis Heat 05: Re-runx3 Wolbert, Risager, Lykke , Manzares (fx) Heat 06: Worrall, Hawkins, Lykke, Nielsen Heat 09: Risager, Harrison, Manzares, Lykke Heat 11: Wolbert, Tungate, Lykke, Heeps Heat 14: Re-run Heeps, Lykke, Pijper , Manzares (fx) If i remember rightly anyone that did 4 laps could have scored that night! Manzares fell 3 times and also went from 15m after tape exclusion, Tungate went from 15m too and also fell. Henry fell and had tape offence, Wolbert fell, Harrison had tape offence! Baldyman
Like a few others, I really do think that Rye house have a team that could push for a play off place, and jakobson certainly looks like the has the ability to improve. Having said that I don't think they will get anything on Thursday. Rohan is a lot better at home than he is away and gino will score more than 2. Would be great to see Cameron carry on with his high scoring from Saturday. Hopefully Stefan can sort his bike problems out for this meeting and maybe even stay on for all of the races he takes part in. Not sure about Stefan equipment, but it looks the same as it did a few years ago.

We didn't buy new covers for this year as money was tight. We spent the money instead on engines and other parts. We have tried to much and spent so much money on trying to sort his bikes at. We think we have found the problem, but you never know until you race it. Edited March 24, 2015 by freshy26
Phil Silvers
Foxhall has never been a happy hunting ground for us, so I'm expecting a comfortable home win in the region of 14-16 points. We haven't done all that bad at Foxhall really apart from two relatively heavy defeats last year when we al knew the team wasn't the strongest there is and one in 2013. The past form reads: 2011 - 49-47 2012 - 47-46 2012 - 44-46 2013 - 55-35 2013 - 46-44 2014 - 55-40 2014 - 50-40 Edited March 24, 2015 by Phil Silvers

dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
That's not too bad. My memory must be playing tricks with me.average 49.5 - 42.5 so better than the majority of teams visits to Foxhall
Baldyman
Rye house are normally one of the better visitors since ipswich been in the premier, and I see this visit being no different.
2ndbendbeerhut
Taken from http://www.ipswichwitches.co/ Director of Speedway, Chris Louis, summed up his team's first meeting of the season: "It was as pleasing as it was frustrating to come away with what may prove to be a vital point. The evening was made 'interesting' by a lack of communication between the pits and the officials box. There’s been something very professional and composed about Cameron (Heeps) since his return from Australia a couple of weeks ago and it showed on Saturday. Calm and focused he went about scoring a very creditable 15 points with some good starts and even better passes. Danny (King) backed him up well and although we’ve only got one team meeting under our belts, I can see already why I was keen to bring him back at the earliest possible opportunity. His preparation for the season has been impeccable, he’s a team man through and through and brings a happy and calm atmosphere to the pits. New team manager, Phil Hilton, had a lot to deal with on his debut as well - R/R for Ritchie (Hawkins), Nico (Covatti) turning up just as the riders are leaving the pits for heat two, no pit to referee communication and a frustrated Gino Manzares! That’s a lot to handle on your first night, and he did us proud with a focused and professional job."
