Robert Dowhan in an ex chairman of Falubaz and a current Polish MP. Falubaz alco confirmed it on their Twitter. It's much more official than we'd want it to be...

Definately. Thank you.

Mate im crap on a PC, how the hell do i get the translate ????

The only new piece of news so far is that Jacek Frątczak, on of the major Falubaz officials, said that the doctors are preparing Darcy for an operation that's about to start soon.

The same Google that translates the headline in the article in Sportowefakty as "fatal Injury" - no thanks...I'd rather hear a human translation than a mechanical one.

It's a false friend, "fatalna" means "terrible" in Polish.

Here's the latest article - http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/542141/fatalna-kontuzja-darcyego-warda - best viewed in the Chrome web browser which translates automatically.

Satisfy yourselves with the Google translation if you like, but ideally if one of our Polish speaking friends can elaborate, that would be much appreciated.

So hopefully, Reading this. There is hopefully quiery compression of cord and or vertibrae that will be released by decompressing the disc/s between C 1 and C 7, then we will just have to wait and see what other damage there is. I hope and pray for Darcy that is part and main of the problem. The neck clearly seems to be the main problem.

I really don't like Google Translations, they are untrustworthy.

Which is exactly why I don't trust Google Translation service when it comes to matters where translations need to be spot-on.

Worse and worse news are coming in...I feel awful posting this here...

Dariusz Ostafiński is a major Polish speedway journalist. His last tweet (@ostafinski) says:

I've talked to the Falubaz team doctor. There's no hope for Ward. The cord was guillotined. Cervical vertebrae C6 and C7 have been damaged.

Lets just wait and see what the outcome of the op is. I doubt anybody will know anymore untill the morning. This is all getting a bit much.

Gutted for Darcy and I wish him all the best for his recovery. I don't think people should be posting speculative information on here, but to wait for official statements from the hospital and his clubs.

I just hope the news will be better tomorrow

What's my problem? Wow

FYI, I haven't and won't ever be viewing the clip. This poor lads career could be short lived and people are taking glory for being the 1st to be sharing the crash video.

It's sick, end of

I just read the update on Darcy Ward condition it looks pretty bad his spinal cord is damaged he will be in surgery for couple of hours, wishing him speedy recovery.

A couple, more like 7-8. Everybody is praying for some sort of light and better news, but we are just going to have to wait untill something official has been put in writing.
