Polish Promotion/relegation Sunday 4th October

As i said earlier, i think this is a bloody courageous performance by Zielona Gora to keep within sniffing distance. Torun are going to come out on top, but what a mighty effort from the Famous Five.

Certainly putting up a great show, even if it may fall short in the end.

(If I may be allowed to put a bit of INTERNATIONAL grass-track news on this thread. I understand that GB won the grass-track World Cup today...........................in Germany!)

Great performance from practically a 2 man team.

Their number 6 looks useful even if he does have a rubbish haircut! :D

Pepe just gets better with age. Sadly Tomasz seems to be going in the opposite direction.

I hope r&r doesn't mind me straying onto his territory but last Sunday's Ekstraliga matches are now on You Tube:

Gorzow v Grudziadz https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GtkCxJUwXuU

Torun v Zielona Gora https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x4PJLIBWkzI

Not a problem Rob-I did check Haszyszowy earlier and he hadn`t put them up.

So one of Torun's non-Polish riders might have to look for another team when

the transfer window opens on July 15th since Torun likely will sign Darcy Ward.

The former Torun boss says that his opinion is that Holder is the rider who might lose a place in Torun.

No Div 1 match on TV this Sunday-just the Extraleague.

Even though the Div. 1 meeting is the beginning for some of us of a 45 heat marathon, i shall miss it  Hope it's back next week. It also makes a nice "salad" before the "roast beef" of the big boys. Take care. Alan.
