I have seen some bizarre speedway meetings in the 70s and 80s but this is a weird one. If Vladimir Putin turned up dressed as a Polish schoolgirl I think I would not be surprised in the least. I saw one of the legendary 0-0s back in the 70s. Can't remember which one but think it might have been at Mildenhall. If my memory serves one was excluded for a fall and one was not under-power so also excluded and the other two both had engine failures after a couple of laps.
