pawel115
Bit dusty i agree Alan.Wow cant see Grudziadz winning this.Just 3800 fans at the stadium but that is because of restrictions due to Stadion being rebuild and only that many are allowed by law. 2ndbendbeerhut
Because of the building work the start has been moved to the old back straight. Sopcast seems ok now! Didnt reconize it as Wroclaw to start with, apart from the towers, must be a bit weird for the riders now the 1st bend is the 3rd... Was it Vargarna in Sweden that did the same, any others track tried it? Lakeside and Eastbourne would struggle!

SCB
Pretty sure Edinburgh did it Didnt they do it twice? Switched it around about 2 years after moving in and then switched it back a few years after that?

I don't know about Varagarna, but I know Västervik changed their start location from one straight to another. Maybe also Gubbängen. but I am not sure. SCB
More tapes problems..... I'm not sure why the sport still uses tapes. Whats wrong with using lights?
2ndbendbeerhut
By changing the position, would that also mean a new track record? I'm not sure why the sport still uses tapes. Whats wrong with using lights? Thats far too techincal for a professional amatuer sport! Transponders and lights the way to go
SCB
Thats far too techincal for a professional amatuer sport! Transponders and lights the way to go Exactly, would solve the issue of rider jumping the start. The transponder could look for a rider moving say an inch or more before the light goes out and if that happens, exclude them. if the rider just anticipates it then well done him! If a rider "jumps" then their exclusion light comes on straight away and they are out, Would also have exact track records too!
