SCB
A victory for fairness and legal teams. Hurrah!!
Najjer
One result doesn't make a season but to beat the team many are tipping to win the league isn't a bad start at all - matter of fact, it's a bloody good start! Just imagine what we could do when Richie reaches his potential.
SCB
Najjer, I think Olly Allen forgot he'd changed teams! Bet he doesn't only score 4 again all season. You probably met them at the right time

Baldyman
Well done Somerset, the two meetings on good Friday against Ipswich have now become very important for both teams.
Najjer
or crash. Bit harsh, but you can guarantee no matter how bad a crash he has, he will end up with some sort of injury, much the same as Roynon. A joy to watch when on song, but fortunately enough for us Rebels it looks like he wasn't today.
SCB
TBF this afternoon he had a crash battling for the lead and an EF, he could have potentially had another 4 or 5 points.
Lukas
Looking at Allen in the pits he was having some serious bike problems hence why he ended up on blackys bike...and he wasn't a happy Bunny but he will come good. The more worrying thing for me is the track which will suit none of our team every Sunday afternoon when its like a dustbowl. The only fix is a lot more dirt and a lot more water. If not there will be no home advantage. I think it will be a different story next Friday night when the track will stay grippy in the cool evening air...I hope. Anyway apart from us losing, great to have speedway back and there was some good racing despite the dust. Just imagine what we could do when Richie reaches his potential. Will that happen? I don't doubt Worrall is a decent rider but I think he's been way overrated. Wouldn't be surprised to see him at the same sort of average come the end of the year.

I think you are right and am sure it was mentioned in the close season that these Sunday afternoon meetings could be a problem for us. As fans it's no fun watching a meeting in slick dusty conditions especially on a track that can produce such great racing.
bigcatdiary
Sunny afternoon meetings are always tricky but to be fair the track was slick to start with which certainly didn't suit the Panthers, they also never quite got the watering right. Same for both teams but Panthers couldn't get out of the traps, ALLEN was awful and Simon Lambert looked a different rider today.

I wouldn't be going overboard with beating panthers today ,panthers didn't have a lot of luck but overall a well deserved victory for zummerset very impressed with Charles wright again , and josh g ride in 15 was top notch
Lukas
There must be a way to fix it in this day and age (keeping the track good on a dry day I mean). Bottom line is though we lost this match because they're top 3 were faster than ours..not sure how u fix that. Haza
Very entertaining meeting I thought very impressed with Braby Kurtz thought he was awesome - as for Panthers Allen was poor and couldn't sit still at the starts and Simon Lambert was poor also - as for the track I thought the track staff are clueless all the dirt near the fence and made no attement to bring it in towards the none existent White line . Good meeting very impressed with Somerset
TheScotsman
TBF this afternoon he had a crash battling for the lead and an EF, he could have potentially had another 4 or 5 points. Allen didn't have a crash - he just caused Chas Wright to fall and so was disqualified.
Baldyman
One of the best race tracks in the country and the track staff don't know what they are doing, big shame.
