SteveLyric2
Just one other thing to note from the meeting...................... I Thought the new rule was "no rider is to get off of their bike to do any gardening" ??????? So why was Rory Schlein allowed to do just that before heat 14???? And what is the punishment if/when they do?? Should Schlein have been excluded??? Maybe its just for League meetings?! Davey Watt did it too..... Daniel Smith
Just one other thing to note from the meeting...................... That idea was scrapped early doors after many riders complained due to some having difficulty reaching the floor with their feet while on their bikes Edit: Amended start procedure 15.3.1 Riders may prepare their Start area, whilst in full, personal control of their motorcycle, including having the Cut-Out Lanyard attached, and with their motorcycle facing the direction of racing. Starman2006
It's now supposedly meant to be rainy in the morning and then drying out by the afternoon... If the forecast stays that way, I imagine Buster and the track staff will work all afternoon to get the meeting on With regards to tonight, hope we are competitive and more cobwebs are blown away Yep thats the forcast ive seen, but inishally it was going to rain pretty much all day. Iwould fully expect your boys to be more competitive tomorrow, but we also have big track riders, so i don't think its going to be a walk in the park for you, and dragging back that sort of deficit might not be that easy. Starman2006
Can't take anything from these meetings. It's the 1st team event for both teams, it's not about the winning. It's a perfect chance to iron out issues be it equipment or riding order's etc Getting your excusses in early then !!
foreverblue
Big well done to the team, thought we would struggle after Kyle's withdrawal but i was not counting on the terrific Paul Starke, what a debut, we will need two reserves tomorrow so we need to pick our guest carefully, not sure who is available or eligible. i have said i am not Dakota north's biggest fan but he rode very well tonight and pleasantly surprised, Better get some sleep now as got a long drive to Norfolk tomorrow
Bagpuss
Very early days but Poole will take some beating to a third title on the trot if North & Starke keep riding like that. Well done to CVS for not picking Starke for Wolves Expect a very close meeting tonight as Poole ride Lynn as well as their own track, and North is a specialist. As long as we don't get thrashed and everybody is ready for Tuesday that'll do me fine.
semion
Looking at the scores from last night, it would seem Kings Lynn Got off lightly. Newman, you would think would have scored in the 2 heats he was missing, on a normal day, Plus how many Times will Holder score 7 at home ? Opening shots look to me like Poole are stronger than last season, with Kings Lynn slightly weaker ( Morris for Rose). I really think this Poole team will take some stopping. Can Only see 2 things that may get in their way. One of course is the age old problem of Injuries and the other is Pooleitis or has most people know it, choking. Still its a long season with many twists and turns along the way. Opening gambits are that Matt Ford, despite being the last to complete his team has put together another stellar line-up

Hodgy
Rubbish. More to do with people watching speedway free, and letting others keep the stadium open for them. There is always free loaders. Years ago Lakeside held a meeting with free admission and about 4k turned up. Week later, and normal prices, and they stayed away. I wonder why. What does that say about 'normal' prices v the product on sale?
