Gemini
I'm so glad I look in here every day because I can always find something that lets me know I am definitely not going senile yet as I always "get" what the posts mean.
jim the whipper
Think it will be closer than Sunday happy little joist for the Lions. I can still see them winning the second leg, if the team can up their game away, this will be the first away meeting for the new Lions team. Lions to win by less than 10. Unless the Bees can really start buzzing. But I still think the Lions have one of the strongest teams this year. another one . what are you basing your assumption that Leicester are one of the strongest teams ? I wondered when the reference to sanitary towels would raise its ugly head.shame on you sir! Disapointed he beat you to it ?
justathought
another one . what are you basing your assumption that Leicester are one of the strongest teams ? Â Probably same place as you get yours.
weatherwatcher
We will have to wait and see how things go when the season starts. Can't see them come out running for the first few meeting but once they have riden together for a few meetings I think we will see a far better side than we had last year, that won't be very hard to beat anyway. Don't think the Lions will be at the bottom of the league this year and with a bit of luck and hopefully the team stay together for the whole season they even may just have a chance of reaching the play offs/ Lets hope so. Should be a very interesting meeting on Friday. To see how the Lions fare away from home. Still think they will win it by a few points. robert72
I am sure we will see a fired up bees team on Friday, just hope the lions are not thinking it will be another easy meeting and then get stuffed. Â Think bees will win by 10 points as they look too strong at home.
Gemini
I think the other way around. Coventry to lose by 10 points and this thread to go into meltdown on Friday night with all the irate Bees fans letting rip.
Woz01
I am sure we will see a fired up bees team on Friday, just hope the lions are not thinking it will be another easy meeting and then get stuffed. Â Think bees will win by 10 points as they look too strong at home. We do look extremely strong at Brandon, I'd say a win around ten but depends on Jamrog's form. Another 0 and it will be close. SCB
Jamrog is key. Assuming he scores 0 I'll go with a draw, so for every point he scores that will be 2 points added to the difference. So we need him to score about 18 to win on aggregate
Gemini
Will you be gracing us with your presence Robert72? If so perhaps you can come round to the 4th bend sometime during the evening and meet Lucy.
shinyhine
Even though I have my doubts about the pole I will be going up and have they reduced admission for this meeting
mdmc82
Is this the challenge meeting that's included in the season ticket? Even though I have my doubts about the pole I will be going up and have they reduced admission for this meeting As far as I know there's no reduced admission although not sure why people think there should be when nobody else reduced theirs including Leicester. It's still a meeting.
shinyhine
Maybe to entice new supporters in and hopefully some get the buzz that you get from speedway
Woz01
Maybe to entice new supporters in and hopefully some get the buzz that you get from speedway I agree that a challenge meeting should be a few quid less but the Bees promotion do a few offers during the season. I agree that it should be cheaper...if you can get the riders to ride for less!
Dave Jones
I agree that a challenge meeting should be a few quid less but the Bees promotion do a few offers during the season. I'm looking forward to seeing our promoters plans for any" special offers" this season. Â After all they won't be able to play the "extra entrance fee " for a bees/storm double header card , only to find the second match curtailed by a non existent curfew will they? robert72
 Common sense is not what some promotors have these days.  £10 for an evening out watching Coventry v Leicester is affordable & tempting to newbies & casuals.
IainB
have they reduced admission for this meeting No, they've increased it by £

Yeah that's true for a double header, there is a curfew for meetings on Fridays I think it was confirmed 10.30pm after the shambles last season. On Saturdays the curfew is longer for the stox I believe.
