This will be a good chance for the new riders to get some practice on their tracks over the 2 legs and try things with their equipment. I feel if people pay good money they expect top entertainment not riders practising or trying out bike set ups,one way for newbies never to return. I would also guess the riders may be testing equipment, but I would expect this, if they test it now and it helps with set ups when the season starts all the better. There was loads of challenge matches and spurious cup competitions in the seventies and eighties...did they reduce prices then....of course not.If you were a long term fan of the sport you would know that! Quite right. No self respecting rider should be treating a meeting that people are paying good money for a gloryfied practice and I don't think they will. People don't seem to miss a trick to get a few coppers knocked off the price of a ticket.
