Hodgy
Emphasised by the unusual decision to use the Elite League format - without that they'd have got beat. Should have won by more. Lost Roynon in first race, 3 ef when in scoring positions and on a cert 5-1 when Worrall fell and made no attempt to get off the track, rerun 3-3. Also Lawson and Worrall both jumped the start for the 7-2, couldn't believe ref didn't call them back. EOES must be the coldest place on earth brrrrrrrrr. Falcon Hammer
Peterborough fans are so lucky being able to watch Allen, Ostergaard & Lambert around EoES. Once Lambert learns how to gate, he'll be awesome. Adam Ellis was also superb, must be a PL place for him somewhere!
Mark
Any news on Roynon. He is the unluckiest rider I can think of.
TheScotsman
Gawd that was cold!! Shame that the outstanding fish & chip wagon was no more - tried the chips & coffee from the burger van but a patch on the predecessor!! OK meeting for an opener. Such a shame for Adam Roynon coming a cropper again - not even half a lap into his season. Don't know if Lawson clipped him coming out of turn 2 or if he picked up a bit of drive but he hit the deck hard. Understandably there was a long delay while they attended to him on the track and took him off in the ambulance. Disappointing though that there was then a longish delay till the county ambulance arrived. Would have hoped they would have had additional ambulance and medic cover available given that they wanted to run through the meeting quickly so that folk could get to Rory's do at the Lynn. I decided it was getting a bit tight for time (and too cold) so opted against going to that one. The rider intros were a nice touch with them coming down the stand to the track. Fooled me for the first 3 or 4 'cos I didn't see where they had come from!! Not much passing but hats off to Simon Lambert for his final bend pass. Allen looked decent as did Lawson and Blackbird seems to have come back well from his injury. All early days though. And there were a lot of interviews during the meeting which was good but more importantly you could actually hear them clearly! The sound system seemed to have improved. Looked a decent sized crowd too. Bring on the warmer weather though!!
screm
Any news on Roynon. He is the unluckiest rider I can think of. SpeedwayGB @SpeedwayGB 28m28 minutes ago Peterborough have confirmed Adam Roynon was taken to hospital with back and arm pain after his crash today - we wish him well. Hopefully he was taken to hospital as a precaution and will be back sooner rather than later.

TheScotsman
I think Lynn is colder! Probably is!! At least Peterborough cancelled the interval (though there had been the 30+ minute injury delay)!!
Hodgy
I think Lynn is colder! Lynn has places you can warm up a bit in between tractor racing. It's as cold in the bar at EOES as it is outside.
Lioness
be careful.. that is classed as an accusation by lioness..... but we all know its just banter and craic.. I think you will find thats a whoosh for you as it wisnae me they were digging at but someone who made an accusation then tried to back out of it quicker than a Nissan Leaf round Goodwood not the one who called them out for it! Nice to see I am so much on your mind though Any news on Roynon. He is the unluckiest rider I can think of. It seems to be the same every season. I think I'd have given in by now

Lukas
I've heard that royno has got broken ribs and a bruised lung.. Very painful but I think most panthers fans would take that over what we thought had happened..get well soon and well done to the rest of the boys..in particular Rambo lambo senior. Chris Brown
Best wishes to Adam for a speedy recovery. Really bad news for the young man. Is there a time when the sport is trying to tell you something. He is incredibly unlucky but sometimes it just might be worth calling it a day when fate is seemingly conspiring against you so often
peterborough daz
Ideal opportunity to get Adam Ellis some PL meetings whilst Roynon recovers?
Arson fire
Surely getting beyond coincidence with Roynon now... Wish hed pack in before its too late, the body can only take so much.... Hes cursed!! Get well soon
TheScotsman
Have to say I'm relieved it is "only" broken ribs and a bruised lung. Looked like it might have been much worse. Surprised that Kerr had to go to hospital. Looked like a nothing sort of fall.
