severnsider
So Bspa, and possibly One Sport, knew on Tuesday that Tai wasn't available on Tuesday BUT decided not to publicise this meaning could unfairly blame Tai at last minute from the commentary of Dave Rowe & Rosco interview. Find it funny people moan about it being not an official event but then are quick to crucify riders for not participating
nw42
I agree but this is not surprising, Esbjerg have rarely produced any particular good speedway those times the past few years that I have seen meetings from it on Kanalsports broadcasts from Esbjerg, Personally I think Fjelested usually is quite good racing but the arena probably is of a bit lower standard.. Less grass? The track shape and size looks ok but it is proving processional.
waiheke1
I'm not totally convinced by his explanation, I would think a top Pole or Dane would still have ridden, even Bomber offered to change his riding plans on Rosco's Twitter. And if bomber had ridden, Coventry would get no facility to cover him. Or they could have used a guest and bomber got a 28 day ban

Why didn't he tell Rosco then? Less grass? The track shape and size looks ok but it is proving processional. From what I can remember, more grass / grass slopes and less constructed stands.
severnsider
Think he did know as it was likely to be him that gave info to Dave Rowe. Cook was also quoted earlier in week saying that didn't know who he would be riding with so seems he must have know Tai was unavailable Think he did know as it was likely to be him that gave info to Dave Rowe. Great ride by Sundstrum there, under plenty of pressure from Laguta.
nw42
Real speedway will take place at 4pm and 7pm UK time tomorrow. Polish Extraleague. Stal Gorzow vs Unia Leszno gonna be huuuuge. Do you have some teams You like most? As in foreign league? I am really curious. I'm from ZG so i was born with methanol and Falubaz in my veins (speedway is everywhere in ZG. Buses, town sponsored graffities, etc.) but i am a fan of Peterborough Panthers Premier League team. Do You have a fav. Polish team? I don't have a favourite overseas team but I would like to know why your club use the mouse logo, how did that come about?
severnsider
Though not best racing generally followed Wroclaw as was first Polish track went too. Loved match at Czestochowa I went too a couple of years ago v Tarnow. Such a pity they got into financial issues. Not seen a league match at ZG but looks fantastic atmosphere

It was after the war and , behind the iron curtain, copyright wasn,t something that Disney Corporation could enforce. Doubt they even knew for many years. nw42
I believe Wikipedia can tell You a lot. Anyways the logo was designed by a guy from Leszno. We hate Leszno No worries, I was just returning the compliment and making conversation. f-s-p
Let's hope the forum gets a plug on TV tonight.Plenty of flak from riders recently is what the BSF is actually getting. I can understand some, but the reality is that whats said here "outloud", is the same rubbish and flak they've been getting for decades. They've just not been aware of it. Bottom line is to some extent, that the people giving flak here are the ones paying the tickets to get in at tracks. BSF works for me, I know now how to use it. Been 11 years. So thanks for keeping it going...

Ghostwalker
Is it ever dry in Denmark?! Wasn't it Esbjerg who hosted a GP qualifications quarter or semi last year which rained off twice?
brandonbee48
Thanks for the company all. Going to enjoy our (at long last !) heatwave here. Join you for Poland tomorrow. Take care all. Alan.

nw42
That was all a bit rubbish :/ Wasn't it. I feel like I'm just going through the motions watching it because it's speedway, happens too many times but I keep watching, just in case. Maybe I'll always be in this state of limbo, can't imagine giving up on it.
bruno
Not brilliant eh, I couldn't have a drink tonight because I'm on the road early in the morning. Maybe it's the drink I missed rather than decent racing!!!!!!
