Blackadder
2 GPs so far, and both rubbish. Last night's meeting must have been the worst I've ever seen.
spanner47
In the unlikely event anyone on here is thinking of going to Tampere next season, just one tip. Buy the cheapest seat and sit anywhere you want. Before the event the cheapest seat was 55 euros, but on the day this was reduced to 50. I've been to numerous stadiums around the World and sometimes ended up with a better seat than what I paid for, but never has the cheapest ticket got me into the most expensive seat, there's always a steward checking the posh seats, but not here. So either the Finns are very the trusting, or they just don't give a stuff. But I didn't complain, obviously I still didn't get value for money, but I'd have been very narked, had I been stupid enough to pay full whack. OveFundinFan
If I were the GP organisers I would be getting very worried. There will not be 52000 at next years Warsaw GP and there will be even less if there is a GP at Tampere in 2016. You cant take the paying public as stupid year after year, expecting them to pay out for sub standard racing. The riders are well capable of putting on a good show, but they need the tracks to do it on. And what about Eurosport? Come the time they will be thinking they not getting what we pay for. Saturday night they were showing the 12 heats of Warsaw followed by the Tampere meeting. Any new viewers to speedway must have wondered what on earth was going on, and if they tune in next week for Prague that will convince them speedway is not worth watching. What I do when watching GP's is record whilst watching, record so I can watch again in the winter months. However I have recorded the last two GPs and then immediately wiped them off - not worthy of watching again. Sometimes I will record the edited "highlights" but not even bothered with these last two. Â As there seems to be a lack of good racing tracks with a decent crowd capacity, maybe what is needed is a shortened 6 series GP raced on the good tracks that do have good crowd capacity, even helping tracks out to develop good spectator facilities and going for longer contracts ie 6,8 or even 10 years, so there is a chance of a payback. Â I just hope Cardiff will be ok, if not that will be a load more nails in the coffin.

Ghostwalker
6 GPs are too few. Needs to be 10 GPs at least.

customhouseregular
6 GPs are too few. Needs to be 10 GPs at least. Oh how bored we must all have been in the pre-GP days (NOT). Â Quite rightly, all the comments 2 GP's in are negative. Ask any supporter who started watching speedway 50-60 years ago if World Championship speedway was boring, or rubbish. Knock me if you will but the future is in the past.
mothorsen
As boring as last year. Horrible start to the season. I'm all for the GP's travelling to new countries, but sort out the track! You've had a year to ensure that the boring spectacle from last year didn't happen. But it did. Indeed.

Haza
Something has to change or there won't be a GP series - people ain't going to keep spending hard earned cash on these none events. As I said earlier time to bring back in proper tracks and stadiums for starters Horsens take it back to Vojens - Prague lets go to Pardubice a far better race track - Warsaw back to Lezsno there is also Croatia Italy that could be brought back into the series Landshut in Germany would be another good venue - as for Cardiff unless the National speedway stadium in Manchester is going to hold 45 k it will have to remain in Cardiff though if Olsen gets that wrong in July the new Belle Vue could be big enough come 2016 . Fans will vote with there feet it's time some people wake up to this fact .

screm
To quote Tony Blair...things can only get better. Â Hopefully starting with Prague next Saturday, as I think its fair to say the first two GP`s haven't exactly lived up to the billing. Yes I have been to Pardu and Prague(not for the speedway though),the trouble with your idea is that Pardu don't want a GP.They are happy with what they have. You can't force a track to host a GP if they don't want it,which is where any list of the 10 best tracks falls down..... severnsider
Not a classic weekend in Poland either. No passing in either of the two TV meetings, delays in Gorzow caused by issues in first bend, tape issues in Grudziadz, Wroclaw & Rzeszow

Its all down to money unless Pardubice version of city council stump up some cash to fund the BSI for putting the meeting on then its got no chance as Pardubice Club dont have the funds sad really Ive been banging on about having a 5 team WTC final there...
