Priority Over Double Up Riders

Recommended Posts

The fast track system is a complete waste of time unless the top league gets priority over FTDR riders. The clue is in the name. It is supposed to be Fast Track DEVELOPMENT scheme. Where is the development coming from if the rider is off riding at the level he would be riding in anyway?

Once again the PL side pull the strings. They don't want a fast track scheme of their own and they don't want their riders in an EL scheme. They don't want young Brits to progress to a higher level. All they want is the soft option of off the peg foreigners hammering an I creasing number of nails in the coffin.

That's all very well in programmed meetings, but not right if the EL team rides roughshod over the fixtures of PL teams when they rearrange fixtures. Let's have some fairness and respect for each other.

You would hope that this is only for meetings already in the fixture list. Any changes/addition then the original fixture "wins" as was the case last season.

I would agree except in the case of a rearranged Sky meeting, when the teams on Sky should get preference otherwise it would seem 'mickey mouse' to regular and new viewers!!
