Priority Over Double Up Riders

Recommended Posts

So it is ...

BELLE VUE have priority over Steve Worrall. Stefan Nielsen is owned by ?

COVENTRY have Jason Garrity not doubling up and own James Sarjeant

KINGS LYNN have priority over Lewis Kerr ..... the other reserve ?

LAKESIDE have priority over Adam Ellis but not Ashley Birks

LEICESTER; They don't have priority over Auty or Lambert

POOLE have priority over Newman but Starke ? (think he is a NL asset)

SWINDON have priority over Lewis Rose but not Charles Wright

WOLVES do not have priority over Bates but Blackbird is an asset of a NL club so ?

Weirdly it was expected to be Blackbird and Starke at Wolves so it would be interesting to see who does get priority over NL assets ?

I think Blackbird is a Ips

Kings Lynn own Lambert which means Leicester get priority.

Stefan is a coventry asset.

I thought Starke was a Somerset asset?

If so then double up priority during clashes would look like this:

BELLE VUE

Cook (Edinburgh) 4

Stead (Sheffield) 2

Worrall (Belle Vue)

Stefan (Belle Vue)

COVENTRY

King (Coventry)

Robson (Coventry)

Sarjeant (Coventry)

KING'S LYNN

Kerr (King's Lynn)

LAKESIDE

Kennett (Rye House) 7

Lawson (Glasgow) 4

Ellis (Lakeside)

Birks (Sheffield). 13!

LEICESTER

Auty (Scunthorpe) 6

Lambert (Leicester)

POOLE

Newman (Poole)

Starke (Somerset) 5

SWINDON

Howarth (Workington) 4

Morris (Swindon)

Rose (Swindon)

Wright (Somerset). 10

WOLVERHAMPTON

Wells (Wolves)

Blackbird (Peterborough?). 3

Number next to name is how many possible clashes (without rain offs)

Heres a take on the situation. In brackets is where the Speedway characters would be placed

In October 2014 a person (Ipswich) goes to Enterprise (BSPA) to hire a car (Danny). The agreement is for 2015 and payment made (loan fee)

Going into 2015 someone else (Coventry) fancies driving that car (Danny). They go to Enterprise (BSPA) who say thete is only one car (Danny) available but agree to the hire (DU) anyway.

In Feb 2015 Enterprise (BSPA) tell you ( Ipswich) that someone else (Coventry) can drive your car (Danny) and infact if you both want it at the same time they (Coventry) have priority because the bloke from the same street (league) as them (Cov) used to drive the car (Danny)

See it makes perfect sense now!!

You have far too much time on your hands.

Surely if the meeting is a rearranged one by the EL teams, it would be fair and justifiable to let the rider/s in question to ride for a previously agreed PL fixture.

if rearranged fixtures take priority over original fixtures then it is a complete stitch up.

Even in the strange world of Speedway rules that would be odd.

If this were any other sport then they probably wouldn't have people representing more than one team in different leagues. However, if they did it would be a no brainer that the top league always gets priority!

The fast track system is a complete waste of time unless the top league gets priority over FTDR riders. The clue is in the name. It is supposed to be Fast Track DEVELOPMENT scheme. Where is the development coming from if the rider is off riding at the level he would be riding in anyway?

Once again the PL side pull the strings. They don't want a fast track scheme of their own and they don't want their riders in an EL scheme. They don't want young Brits to progress to a higher level. All they want is the soft option of off the peg foreigners hammering an I creasing number of nails in the coffin.

SWINDON

Howarth (Workington) 4

Morris (Swindon)

Rose (Swindon)

Wright (Somerset). 10

Number next to name is how many possible clashes (without rain offs)

“The two riders not selected from Tier 1 (Steve Boxall and Adam Roynon) will be on the guest list, along with some others not included in the draft, (Ritchie Hawkins and Carl Wilkinson) and I’m sure they will still be very busy as teams will require guests at times.
“There are several more riders on the Tier 2 list who can all guest, and the reason for that is to avoid a situation which arose this year when there was nobody available to guest in a meeting, so we’ve virtually gone down to 5.00 in the National League on that list.”

So who is allowed to replace Wright? Is it only the 4 riders (Roynon, Boxall, Hawkins, Wilkinson) that are mentioned above?

Also have Kings Lynn announced their replacement for Jacobs yet?
