customhouseregular
Now her's a challenge, even for Norbold with the propensity of London teams since 1928. Think of the World Champions that have graced London sides. Think of the great riders who rode for West Ham, Wimbledon, New Cross and Harringay. I doubt any 2 members will agree on the top 7, so I'll start this off with; Wilkinson Young Knutsson Briggs Moore Johnson Waterman Over to you... iris123
Surely Norbold would have Farndon in.I probably would as well. Wilkinson Young Briggs Moore Huxley Duggan or Farndon Lameroux or J.Milne Edited February 6, 2015 by iris123

You mean you left out World Champions Williams, and Van Praag, and World No 2's Jansson, Kennett, Green, Lamoreaux, Plech, Wigg, Jessup, and Harrfeldt? No place for Croombs, Nordin, Biggs, Case, Lofqvist, Wiltshire, Tauser, Mardon, Lawson, Haigh, Kennett, Charles, How, Tommy,.. ? I really don't know how you came up with your list, norbold... customhouseregular
I said no 2 people would agree. What this does show though is what a hotbed of speedway London used to be, and how sad it is not to have our sport in the capital.
van wolfswinkel
Only watched London speedway in the 60s so Briggs, Knutson, Harrfeldt, Moore, Nordin, McKinlay, Nygren, Hedge, Jansson, Hunter, Luckhurst would be up there
