mdmc82
Very interesting how everybody has such different views this year. Proves not a lot between some teams. Think fixture clashes could also play a big part this year. Its difficult to make a proper prediction at present as Poole, Wolves and Leicester still have a couple of riders to sign and Kings Lynn are a reserve short but at present my prediction would be 1. Poole 2. Swindon 3. king's Lynn 4. Belle Vue 5. Coventry 6. Leicester 7. Wolverhampton 8. Lakeside Edited February 8, 2015 by mdmc82
INCOGNITO
Think Blackbird only misses a few meetings for Wolves where as Lawson and Birks miss quite a few for Lakeside
ouch
Can see Holder having low scores during the early season fillers. He averaged six point something last year but rolling averages saw his average stay high. The more good scores drop off the end then the lower his average will fall. It makes no odds early season as you only need finish half way to win the league. Sure it cheats the fans but hey it's Poole so get use to it. Expect them to bolster their team at the business end of the season. Poole to win and thus join that illustrious group along with Wimbledon, Cradley and Bradford. Other play off teams baring injury are Coventry, Kings Lynn and The Aces.
Woz01
It does look a lot closer this year, Wolves look the weakest to me despite having Blackbird at reserve. Musielak will have to hit the ground running for them to have any chance. Will reserve judgement on Poole until the Darcy saga is over, the North and Watt signings seem average to me though. Tommy Sweetman
Wolves should be wooden SpoonistsWont stop CVS and Adams giving us the old flannel about us finishing in the play-offs though. But to be fair they can hardly say anything else. Lots of ifs and buts for me.Beside what happens with Musielak, can Jacob really kick on and be the next Swedish super-star?. Bagpuss
Birks and Ellis will be one of the better reserve pairings IMO.
mdmc82
Birks and Ellis will be one of the better reserve pairings IMO. Personally I see them as the weakest reserve pairing in the league. Both have very inconsistent form and injury prone.
Woz01
Birks and Ellis will be one of the better reserve pairings IMO. Ellis didn't kick on as much as I thought he would Last season. It will be interesting how all the first draft picks do because the isn't too much between them.

T.N.T.
Birks and Ellis will be one of the better reserve pairings IMO. Adam Ellis didn't show up that well last season and this season the reserves are much stronger so can't see him inproving or maintaining his scores. Ashley Birks is the only Tier A rider that hasn't got a 6+ average in the Premier League and it looks like he misses something like 8-10 meetings any way. I think they are by far the weakest pairing and if any of the top five struggles, Lakeside be in trouble and be down with the bottom teams and way short of the play offs. customhouseregular
I was comparing Lakeside Hammers 2015 fixtures against West Ham Hammers fixtures from 1965...50 years ago. The league in 1965 had 18 teams against today's Elite league's 8. Look at the riders who appeared at West Ham in 1965 and consider the fixtures; WC Qualifier British Final Vagarna touring team. Does anyone not know why EL attendances are so low?.

The outcome of Darcys case will determine who is available for Leicester to sign. Wolves was just holding off announcing some bad news

Does anyone not know why EL attendances are so low?. mixing top and lower leagues together having to watch the same visiting team twice in a season...some times within days or the next week or so changing the rules every winter( points limit ...helmet colours etc) riders missing because of other comitments.. its on tv ( ok to watch teams in other counties ,, but people are then to lazy if their team is on tv) putting the 2 mins on for a bad start(openig pit s) just a few thing im sure someone can think of more

SCB
by that do you mean they all want to sign poole assets if so they should go look for their own ....not rely on what poole dont want All? Leicester is hard, "all". And tbf to them they have only been in the EL one season so to expect them to have their own riders is pushing it. And what happens to all Pooles left over assets if all teams go out signing their own riders? I don't see the issue with a club waiting for a rider, it's not like any other option are going to be signed up anywhere else are they? van wolfswinkel
Very unlikely Swindon will finish bottom with Rosco in charge, with his superb play-off record. Will go Lynn Poole Cov Swindon BV Lakeside Leicester Wolves
