jenga
i think if glasgow want a decent product, they have to pay the going rate.mr summers just happens to be agood prospect and his owners can demand a good price for a good rider. whatever the figure is, just pay it . or have glasgow got silver in their pockets , when they thought they had gold. spud is a good rider and deserves to be treated as a human being. smod
He states he "got almost what he wanted" That'll be due to Wednesday's revelations. Tigers will have panicked a bit in case they were left short-handed, so they've blinked first, and Havvy cleared the table. What price someone like Kauko Niemenin coming in now, replacing Kozza? ekimba
Does Spud have a Visa or is he clear to ride here ?
crescent girl
Spud is like guys such as Kevin Doolan, Christian Henry and probably Rusty Harrison, who have lived in Britain for a number of years, have residency approval. The often-quoted "British wife" isn't a guarantee of escaping visa requirements, having your primary residence in the UK for a number of years is the real silver bullet. The White Knight
Well I'm delighted that Aaron has signed. He is far too good a Rider to be left out of Racing this year. I wish him luck at his new Club. :approve:
smod
Redcar sources tell me Glasgow have paid £19K -- that'll be £16K plus VAT -- for the deal. Too much? Discuss.

Far too much if indeed this is the case . But then again Man City pay over the odds for player's . Edited January 25, 2015 by Gazc
Joseq7
Redcar sources tell me Glasgow have paid £19K -- that'll be £16K plus VAT -- for the deal. Too much? Discuss. Yes. Too much. Just because we now appear to have generous benefactors we should still try to balance the books. It's good business. 19k will never be recouped. Maybe this visa nonsense played it's part in us forking out over the odds , still lets hope he turns out to be a successful Glasgow Tiger , he's still young enough to improve
