Summers ?

I posted on the Glasgow thread at the time the takeover was announced that any 'new money 'promotion' seem to be seen as a cash cow for the 'old guard'.

This looks like a good squeeze of the udders to me!

In the current climate even the top EL riders are not worth that sort of money IMO.

MOYes. Too much.

Just because we now appear to have generous benefactors we should still try to balance the books. It's good business.

19k will never be recouped.

Absolutely mental that we have paid very decent money for a very average rider who IMO is already on an inflated 7.78. We would have been better to take Pijper back on loan. Can see the best part of a point off that by October, if not more.

IMO anyone paying a transfer fee needs looking at, the asset system is largely not fit for purpose anymore. I would get rid of it altogether and let the riders be self employed, which they virtually are anyway.

Delighted that Summers has got his move to Glasgow, he has proved himself a very capable scorer in the PL.

Well I'm delighted that Aaron has signed. He is far too good a Rider to be left out of Racing this year.

I wish him luck at his new Club. :t::approve: :approve:

he always goes well at brough,, good luck to him at Glasgow I hope he gets a warm welcome when he goes back to redcar hopefully on a winning Glasgow side :t: but on a losing side when he comes to brough ;)

He also has British born children, from a British partner.

Thats not the golden ticket some think it is. Alex Davies was born in Northampton but he was still considered Australian and couldn't get a passport or a work permit.

Residency is his best bet. Something like has lived here for 5 years and spent no more than x weeks out of the country in that time. Might work for him. I'm sure thats what Wells and Watt have done.

And that would apply in this case, as I am sure it does for Mathew Wethers.
