mdmc82
Brilliant comeback from Harris. He scored 2,3,3 in his other races and qualifies for the next round. 😀 Good to see Kildemand through as well Edited May 25, 2015 by mdmc82

OveFundinFan
Nice to see Martin Vaculik pounding a way to next years GP's. After 2013 I remember he said he would wait a couple years to get more experiance then try again..... looks like he's trying.
uk_martin
So after the qualification round, GB has old man Harris through. The World Speedway powerhouses of Ukraine, Latvia, and Germany have at least 2 qualifiers whilst Croatia and Slovakia have just as many qualifiers as GB. Kind of a sobering thought eh? customhouseregular
Germany 4-England 1 I suspect Tai will be ploughing a lone furrow in 2016.

customhouseregular
It's a harsh road to the GP's with only 3 to go through from the Challenge. At the moment Chris Harris has a 3 in 32 chance of making it, against some top class opposition. I like and admire Chris but I do get the feeling he will not be in the GP's next year. He had the same odds last year and finished in the top 3. Guess we will have to wait and see
Eglese 19
FWIW I think Bomber will probably miss out, though I hope not. It shouldn't be a major shock to anyone if Tai is the only Brit next year, not like we've had a group of riders banging on the door and showing their dominance recently or anything. That said, if Tai is representing your country, things could be worse!
uk_martin
With the BSPA/SCB not being able to see beyond our own shores it's hardly surprising that British riders don't succeed on the world stage. We have over 20 tracks of varying shapes and sizes in Britain so plenty of scope for gaining lots of skills and experience. Latvia has one track, yet they have 3 qualifiers to our 1. And what have Dakota North Max Fricke and Sam Masters got that British riders like Kyle Newman and Rob Lambert don't have? Someone please work out how that has happened. Bagpuss
You can't really compare Lambert to those others. He is only seventeen and didn't ride in the qualifiers this year. I get your general point though, we are miles behind the others in international terms.
SCB
Lamberts German licence is the issue here surely?
Ghostwalker
Lamberts German licence is the issue here surely? Don't think so. Rasmus Jensen have a Swedish license this year but rides for Denmark in the GP-qualification. Edited May 26, 2015 by Ghostwalker
SCB
Don't think so. Rasmus Jensen have a Swedish license this year but rides for Denmark in the GP-qualification.Lambert didn't compete in the U21s as the Germans didn't pick him and he doesn't have a British license. The BSPA confirmed this in a press release when they announced the riders. So the same would be true fur the senior titles. Not sure how Rasmus Jensen is doing it. f-s-p
Don't think so. Rasmus Jensen have a Swedish license this year but rides for Denmark in the GP-qualification. Lambert didn't compete in the U21s as the Germans didn't pick him and he doesn't have a British license. The BSPA confirmed this in a press release when they announced the riders. So the same would be true fur the senior titles. Not sure how Rasmus Jensen is doing it. Rasmus Jensen cant have a Swedish license and ride for Denmark. Denmark cannot nominate a SVEMO rider to ride on Denmarks allocated place. Only way this is possible, is By a rule change in the FIM book. Not gonna check it as I see no reason why that rule would have been changed. Simon Wigg used the same rules back in the day, Kylmäkorpi more recently. No need to change the rule... So the question is, is Jensen actually on a Swedish license? I've also read the newspaper article how he's turning to a Svemo license, but thats just a story in the paper... Means bugger all...
