Bruiser McHuge
I think Tai is capable of pulling off exciting rides but he's now realised that if you get to the latter stages o a GP then there's not much point in risking everything for the sake of a point or 2....he's got a lead and you don't lose much ground if your are 3rd or 4tth compared to actually winning the meeting...in fact you can still gain ground which definitely adds to a safety first approach rather than a win at all costs. That's the drawback of so many GP?'s , it becomes a points accumulation thing rather than having to win thing which takes away some of the spectacle I like the fact that every point counts now, it's a big improvement on some of the old formats but I would just like to see the winner of the final race get rewarded a bit more.it would make for more excitement and keep more people in the title race once they fall behind...barring injuries it's very hard to gain many points per meeting over an opponent under the current system Edited September 7, 2015 by Bruiser McHuge
SCB
TBF, any top rider should be playing the percentages. If you've already qualified for the semi and your nearest rivals are falling to bits then 3rd might be good enough. But saying that, Tai strikes me as a guy who'll give chase but stay well within his limits. If that gets him an extra point great, if not then there's always the next race. Harris is never in a position to play the game, he has to take all he can get.
customhouseregular
I have to eat my words. I really thought Bomber's GP days were over come October, but I was wrong. Well done Chris.

He has a good team, settled personal life, works hard off track, is organised, disciplined, physically tough, mentally strong, is dedicated, driven & knows what is required. He is simply going about the business of accumulating points & knows that is what is needed to win the title. If that means that getting to most finals & every semi & not taking undue risks, then so be it. He is doing what he needs to & I think he has more gears if he needs them. Some of his moves at Gorzow were astonishing, really astonishing. I rather fancy that if Ivan had competed in the GP series, his approach would have been the same. Delighted for Bomber. Totally deserves his place & qualified on merit ahead of many racers favoured to qualify. Good on you Chris. Top man, top effort. oldtimer
I would much rather watch Kidermand in the GP than Harris who will give us another year of British embarrassment.
SCB
I would much rather watch Kidermand in the GP than Harris who will give us another year of British embarrassment. If being the 13-15th best rider in the World is an embarrassment then what is Kildemand for not even making it? The embarrassment is all the people getting digs in at a guy who has qualified by right for 3 season in a row now!
ColinMills
I would much rather watch Kidermand in the GP than Harris who will give us another year of British embarrassment. I would actually prefer watching bomber than hancock...no doubting gregs ability, I just find him boring, just like jimmy nillsen..bomber is watchable "when" his equipment is up to speed

SCB
The 11th best rider in the World. Except as he won't be in the GPs next year he won't be top 15!

Kildermand has never qualified on merit. Bomber has. Get behind him. Be a few less crashes without Kildermand. f-s-p
Martin Vaculik in an interview saying he would readily accept a GP wildcard for 2016- felt he wasn`t ready when in it before but now is.... and being 2nd reserve in the Challenge shows exactly that.

Red Panda
I would rather watch Bomber than Kildemand any day..............the number of times that he has fallen off in GP's is an embarrassment but to go out in and win one when the ref should have excluded him in an earlier race so he would not have made the semi's discredits the GP series...............in the race in question he was clearly the primary cause of the stoppage but the ref did not have the guts to exclude him..........so wrong........... On the subject of Vaculik I have always rated him when he raced in the series before.............would love to see him ride in the UK RP

Anyone who enters the qualifiers but doesn't make the top three should not be considered for a permanent wildcard in my view but I think this will happen with Kildemand and Lindback (at least he's Swedish Champion so has more of a claim)

Guess that puts me ahead of Lindback and Kildemand in the pecking order of your selection process!
ColinMills
kildemand wont get a wildcard. if theres 3 Denmark qualifiers, hes got no hope. lindback surely will due to no swedes. not ideal selecting riders through nationality over quality
customhouseregular
Not ideal having selector's picks and wildcards period. Every rider should be there on merit.
