Following last night`s last matches in the regular season- region Varde( Outrup) and Holsted have made it to the finals.

new this season is the semi-final next Thursday September 8th where Esbjerg,Slangerup, Fjelsted and Grindsted meet to decide the remaining 2 places in the final.

Don`t quite understand how they decided 2nd place as they both finished on 22 points.

Google translation of article on Holsted website

With a convincing victory at 50-37 won Holsted Tigers on Wednesday night the last match in the series of Esbjerg Vikings - the result means Holsted Tigers goes directly to the Metal Super Final on 14 sepember in Varde Motor Arena in Outrup, while Esbjerg Vikings need through a thrilling semifinal in an attempt to reach this year's Super Final.

Holsted Tigers sat down last night completely on the match right from the first race, and in just a few heats it was clear to everyone that it would be a long and sad night for Esbjerg supporters.

Although Esbjerg team leader Ib Pederen tried both Joker and tactical reserves, the Vikings never able to threaten Holsted Tigers, who with convincing driving can be a dangerous outsider in the Super Final, where the home team Region Varde course must be favorites for this year's championship, as the qua first place going into the final with two extra machpoint compared to Holsted Tigers.

The last two participate in Metal Super Final will this year found through a Semifinal, which is run between the numbers 3, 4, 5 and 6. The semifinal to be run Thursday, September 8 in Esbjerg and besides hjemmeoldet will semifinal involve Slangerup, Fjelsted and Grindsted .

Both semifinal and Metal Super Finals will be sent directly to TV2 Sport.

Holsted v Esbjerg 31/8 video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jfQmkBcp2Dk

Thank you for posting this which i watched with breakfast coffee and a blueberry muffin. :drink: I do so miss the atmosphere of these Danish meetings. (and my chunky start line girls  ) Perhaps we can hope for a winter miracle and Kanal to regain the rights. A nice change of format there and the crowds seem to have held up well. Fingers crossed we can get the Final, but if it has to be a video, so be it. Take care. Alan.

Works fine.

Heat 12, a very nice battle between Jensen and Jensen. Jensen won. ;)

Standings after heat 15:

Esbjerg (red) 25p

Slangerup 23p

Grindsted 23p

Fjelsted 20p

Heat 16: Mikkel Michelsen (Blue) wins.

So far the heats I have seen have been very good. Quite unusual for Esberg's track.

Heat 18 red Iversen wins

Heat 19, another win for Esbjerg.

I've lost track of the score but I think Esbjerg should be pretty certain for the final now.

H20 Red, blue, white, yellow. Superb ride from Hougaard who fought his way up to first from last. Esbjerg have secured a place in the final.

Red Esbjerg 40p

Blue: Slangerup 35p

Yellow: Grindsted 30p

white: Fjelsted 24p

Attendance is 4.119 people.

Good battle between Mikkel Michelsen and Rene Bach but Mikkelsen pulled away to win heat 21 for Slangerup

which means that Slangerup joins Esbjerg, Holsted and Region Varde in the Super final.
