Ben Fund, Swindon March 8

Recommended Posts

The model rider was Jason Crump. He didn't use to wait for his invite - he would contact Paul Ackroyd to offer his services.

Shame more don't have his attitude.

I won't be there tomorrow, but if some of the top stars had been riding, I would have. There's not a single Bees rider in the meeting at all. I'll make a donation to the SRBF instead.

That's as good as going to the meeting :t:

All the best

Rob

Oh how I have missed making these posts (not!)

Is there anyone going to this meeting who would be able to text updates to the Updates site? If so, could you please send me a private message including your mobile number.

Thanks

Very true Rob, Jason did have the right attitude, very much his "own man" now but remember he had a great up-bringing & the best guidance possible from Neil Street. Riders tend to be like lemons if the top riders commit to ride in the BEN others will follow!!!!

No that's what you squeeze over your smoked salmon!

Goes well with Robinson's lemming barley water and rounded off by a moist slice of lemming drizzle cake.

Hard to confuse a sheep with a lemon, one of them being yellow and the other white!. Unless the sheep are Chinese :D

Listened to Alun Rossiter this afternoon on BBC Radio Wiltshire, he was saying he found it unbelievable that riders couldn't or hadn't got kit ready for tomorrows meeting, I think a rider should think it an honour to be asked to take part in this meeting.

Sod the riders that can't come won't come.

I don't care how good the line up is. It's about alot more than calibre of riders

I will be there offering my support as always

Roynon was also practicing at Kings Lynn during the week as well so to say he has no bikes ready is a load.................. you get were i'm going with that one.

If thats the case then its really bad form..especially from a rider who has sadly needed the fund quite alot in the past
