kelvinht
Its pretty p1ss poor. If it was a new stadium built on their door step I could understand it. If anything the only people who should have been taken to court would have been the residents solicitor who was involved in their house purchase for not pointing out the stadium to them. Why, in certain area's, are speedway stadia always the poor relation and treated as if we were the worlds worst sport supported by the scum of the earth and other places they co-exist quite happily? The White Knight
What I simply don't understand is that residents, who move in knowing that the Stadium is already there, are given a Court Decision in their favour - when they were stupid enough to move there in the first place. Sue their own Solicitor, the Estate Agent - but not a Stadium that has been there for years before them. I really just don't get it at all. I'm very, very sorry for the Stadium Owners and also Mildenhall Speedway.

The issue wasn't with the noise at the meetings - covered by planning permission - but the noise late at night following meetings - which (afaik) was not covered by planning.
